An exceptional place of awe and remembrance. Both sad and uplifting at the same time.

A beautiful memorial to all the armed forces. Sensitive displays and a peaceful setting to visit to honour and remember those who have served us.

This was our second visit to the National Memorial Arboretum after first visiting in September 2020. This time we spent time in the Far East section, looking at the museum and relics from the Burma Railway. Even though the stories of the people who suffered are difficult to hear, the setting has such a calm and restful atmosphere due to the abundance of trees and nature. We will definitely return! 😊

We took the buggy ride with Tony who was a veteran gunner and a wealth of knowledge. The weather was raining so we will be coming back soon but plenty to see inside. The Japanese prison camp exhibit with Mick was chilling. We had an excellent lunch in the restaurant.

We have wanted to visit here for some time.
The thing that surprised us most was the fact that it is a National Memorial, therefore not dedicated to just the military.
The main memorials are impressive, and they are accompanied in numerous areas by small, personal tributes, some very touching.
The Land Train was the ideal way to start the visit, as it gave us an insight as to the particular memorials we wanted to see.
Very helpful staff throughout the whole site, and all extremely polite and helpful.
The online site is very comprehensive and worth reading before a visit.
Entrance is free, just a car parking fee of £4 currently. (per car, not person).
The land train was £7 each.

It was an interesting morning walking around the Arboretum and looking at the memorials. The main memorial is very impressive and the staff member who I spoke to there was very polite and informative.
Towards the end of the visit I was approached by another member of staff who questioned whether I had read the information on the dog walking map as dogs were not allowed on the grass. While I completely understand this I was literally stood at the side of the hard standing and not at a memorial! The manner in which I was spoken to spoilt an otherwise interesting visit.

Beautifully kept grounds, such a big place no danger of feeling it was crowded. Beautiful memorials.

A little park a nice place to eat, donations run this place. Long walks around, both army and police memorials. Nice little find the places for the kids. Sad but lovely place to visit and show your respects. Toilets are a little scattered, but available. No dogs allowed for obvious reasons, people are polite and a nice gift shop on the way out, pricey but they need the help to run the place as its not funded by any councils or authorities.

It’s full of emotion, nostalgic, commemorating thousands of people, soldiers who lost their lives in wars to give us freedom.

Beautifully maintained park with a wide range of memorials and monuments. The facilities in the visitor's center are very modern and the staff are very helpful and informative. The children's play areas are a bit basic but they have plenty of fun running around anyway so it's not such an issue. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for a quiet place for an easy walk.

Fabulous volunteer staff who take amazing pains to ensure you have a brilliant visit. Starts with the volunteers who welcome you as you arrive for parking. The Arboretum itself is immaculate with no trace of any litter. Visitors treat the site with the respect that it deserves. A super visit. Took my 92 year old uncle who, like the rest of us, was moved by the experience. Thank you to everyone who made today such a fabulous experience.
