Visiting at night during the X-Mas lights is awesome and once on the hill at the end , it will take your breath away, at night with a clear sky it is like a cathedral honouring the fallen. Especially the empty wall that will unfortunately full up over time makes you think

A wealth of information and memories, from all periods. Well worth a visit, great facilities, large open spaces, plenty of rest places for the less energetic.
It is a full day out.

We have visited here three times so far. It is very spacious and peaceful. It helps us remember those who have passed, but it isn't a morbid place.

It is a large area and takes a good few hours to get around. It is very flat and seems good for wheelchairs, push chairs etc. There is also a small train that can take you around.

There is a spacious cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating where you can stop and reflect on what you have just experienced.

Visited on windy and cloudy day, so didn't have a full experience when there, but despite this, I found the arboretum a wonderful place for reflection whilst walking among the trees and monuments. The walks can be assisted by small train and golf buggies for those struggling to walk far. The cafe has a good variety of snacks and drinks. I would recommend to anyone.

The main centre piece memorial is stunning in its simplicity. I visited on a quiet day which made it very peaceful and spent 3 hours slowly walking around. The staff were very helpful and the indoor
Exhibits really interesting. Could have spent 5 hours there taking it all in. Very nice food and drinks area as well.
