Beautiful. I recommend a visit. And a lovely cafe for some lunch and hot beverages on a cold day

Lovely. We took kids and dog and plenty for them to do. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and kind. The cafe is lovely (catering for vegan and veggie diets) and has dog areas. Nothing was too much for the staff. Its not somewhere I first thought would be child and dog friendly but it really is. Very educational too. Carpark is £6 all day but otherwise free. We paid for the trail. Also a map but didn't need to.

Had a lovely walk with family. Followed the Stickman trail, had a picnic, coffee in restaurant then rode on Land Train, listening to the 'story' of many of the memorials (cost £7 per adult and well worth it), then spent time at the largest memorial where one of the volunteer guides told us more about its origins, the sculptures and the whispering wall. The whole experience was moving and memorable. Attractive gardens even in winter. Keen to return in another season.

A beautiful place with some stunning tributes to servicemen and women of different wars. Was lovely to visit and pay our respects. Perfect for a day out in nice weather. Free to get in, parking is £6 for all day which is perfect for the 150 acres you get to walk around. Toilets are very nice, food nice at restaurant. A little pricey but we didn't mind. I do think the statues and information plaques could do with a clean though, lots of moss and cobwebs on them and looks a little messy. Also some of the benches could do with a clean. None of this though takes away from the beauty of it all and I must admit the grass is kept lovely. Nice walk by the river here too, great seeing all the wildlife. You can take a drive along train to view the area or you can have a tour on a small cart. The train has disabled access too which is brilliant. Definitely worth a visit

Fantastic, £6.00 to park the car and that's it. We was there about 4 hours and didn't see half of it, 330 memorials spread over 150 acres.

Everyone should visit this place. Almost feels futuristic in its design, but traditional in the sentiments and tributes it displays.
Massive site with many sections spread out around pathways and woodland walks.
You probably could spend days there looking at all the monuments.
Large café and indoor display areas.

What a beautiful place. Very emotive I must say. There are guides about all over and are more than happy to answer questions and give you some background on the memorials. Definitely can't cover it in one day, we where there at opening time and didn't leave until closing. It is free admission (I would've gladly paid an entrance fee!), it cost £4 to park for the day. You can leave a voluntary donation, which I glady did. Absolutely brilliant day, will definitely be returning.

Ride to the wall, my yearly pilgrimage to the Arboretum. I think it's a beautiful place that keeps evolving year on year.
Dedicated to those service personnel who are no longer with us, truly moving to see all those names engraved on the wall. Never fails to bring a tear.

I visited here for the illuminations and it did not disappoint. It was spectacular yet very respectful to its settings. Not too many people were sent in at the same time which usually happens at big events like these. This meant you could wander around and take pictures without having to queue for long at certain points and not at all for others. The volunteers working were fantastic. Very friendly and very informative. I'm looking forward to returning so I can see it in the day.

The National Memorial Arboretum is centrally located in England - a very emotional experience visiting the many memorials and taking part in the Remembrance service in the Chapel. There were many flowers placed close to the Golden Beech tree that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II had planted.

Playground: There are interactive areas for the youngsters both inside in the gallery and outside close to the land train station.

Restrooms: Close to the entrance next to the shop and evidence of some at intervals around the outdoor memorials.

Dog-friendliness: We saw several well controlled dogs on leashes in the grounds accompanied by their owners. One person had brought his ferret Wallace out for a walk.

Picnic area: You can find a convenient bench close to most of the memorials

The Arboretum was spread over a much larger area than we thought. So well laid out and spacious. We took the land train around which gave us an overview with running commentary. I bought the Arboretum book from the shop which was well worth it at only £5.00.
