What a Great Day-out! It's been on my 'Do-List' for ages and I'm not disappointed. Such good value and all/any contributions made in restaurant, shop, land train, buggies, etc., Go to Royal British Legion - a deserving Charity. Will go again soon to complete what we failed to see in 1xday.

Really enjoyed my visit. A very moving place with several memorials over a large area. Nature trail activities available for children. Cafe with large seating area on site and gift shop. Plenty of parking available, book online prior to your visit. All in all a greet few hours out.

Just makes you realise what people gave up for us today, also the whole futility of war. R.I.P. to them all.

A beautiful place for a walk on a nice day, I was surprised at the emotion that it generated. The cafe however was quite confusing

Loved it. My husband is a war veteran and it was really grounding and humbling to witness all the different groups that are remembered here.

Stunning place. Deceiving in size, it's absolutely huge. Could easily spend a whole day here. Cafe is great, cakes reasonably priced. Perfect tribute to the ones who fought so proudly for us.

What a beautiful yet poignant place to visit. A must-see to experience history and pay the utmost respect to those who lost their lives for us. Immaculate grounds, friendly and helpful staff. Delicious goodies at the restaurant and coffee shop!

The grounds are vast, with much to see and do by way of activities indoors and trails outdoors.

Be warned everything closes by 4pm, sadly. Food and snacks stop being served by about 3pm.

A great place to visit to immerse yourself in history. "Lest we forget"💜

Beautiful humbling and also sombre place. Beautifully kept and very informative. The talk we listened to covering desertion or refusing an order was extremely powerful and very sad. The cafe and food were lovely and extremely good value. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Really lovely place full of history. Couple of cafes, and a couple of events on for the children when we went. There's a land train (costs extra). The grounds and memorials are wonderful to look around. Good to remember all those who gave/give up thier lives/time for us to have what we have today.

Playground: There's at least 2 playgrounds, a sensory and small balance play type one. Decent enough to entertain the little ones for a short time.

Restrooms: Several rest rooms, same old issues though as anywhere you go, people who can't seem to use a toilet they don't own properly.

Dog-friendliness: Not sure on the rules, but lots of dog walkers in the grounds.

Picnic area: There are benches everywhere and several picnic tables to eat outside. A court yard at the complex with indoor (cafe) and outdoor tables. Only thing that would make it better is more covered outdoor seating areas.

There are places where we expect a lot and are disappointed and such as where we do not expect much, especially for children and it turns out that we spend a wonderful day full of attractions and we want to come back!
