A beautiful place. Very sad and thought provoking. My wife is a Poppy Supporter and was invited to attend to see what they did.I wentas her guest. The staff were just amazing and helped in any way they could.
The site itself is beautifully laid out and is a real tribute to those who died for our freedom.
I wish the weather had been better though. Next time we'll go in the summer.

I visited the NMA on Monday for the Service of Dedication of the Remembrance Poppies. I am disabled and needed a wheelchair in order to get to the service, afterwards to visit the Guinea Pig Memorial and then attend the refreshments. I was looked after brilliantly by a student called Grace, who is on secondment to the NMA for a year. She had only been there three months but knew about the GPC and where the Memorial is situated. She kindly placed a poppy cross for me at the foot of the Memorial in memory of my late husband who had been a glider pilot in the war, had crashed in a Tiger Moth, had 40% burns and became a member of the GPC. At the refreshments Grace and her mentor Mark looked after me very well. Then I was surprised and delighted to have a conversation with Neill from the NMA and the Lord Lieutenant, remembering the afternoon when HRH Prince Philip had unveiled the GP Memorial in November 2016. They all helped make the day a very happy and special occasion for me, and I was glad that I had made the effort to attend.

(door stops for sale in the shop should be cheaper so I could buy them all) 😂

You really need a good, full day here. There is so much to see and the cafe, facilities and shop are also excellent so it makes for a day-long destination. Worth pre-booking your parking as it is both cheaper and saves the hassle of finding coins on arrival. There are so many tributes it's hard to highlight them all. Go and see for yourself.

It’s been a while since our last visit and things have changed so much it has increased in size and it take all day to get around it. We attended a service for the fallen and this was very special occasion followed by refreshments afterwards. We manage to see quite a lot during our visit but will return next year to see what we missed on this occasion.
The restaurant is very large and has a good menu and they do hot and cold food and snacks worth a visit. On site is a gift shop with a good selection of gifts.

Went here on a trip with cadets - I've learnt so much, the staff are so insightful. It's a place of commemoration rather than celebration. Definitely visit the shot at dawn section. It's made me think and I've learnt a lot of history that I wouldn't have ever been taught otherwise.

I can't say anymore, you have visit, to appreciate the feel of the gardens, memorials and more than anything the beautiful Armed Forces Memorial. It's all a very fitting tribute to all who have served and continue to do so - so much respect - thank you

A fabulous place - very tranquil and with many hundreds of memorials, it is a fabulous place to remember the sacrifices made by so many. The picture is just one - the UK Police Memorial.

Apart from 2 heavy rain showers, that we managed to avoid, we had an educational informative, heart rending visit. The grounds are disabled friendly, mainly, toilet stops throughout the park. A river walk which can be invigorating in certain weathers. Awe inspiring, tear jerking, search for your forebears. We could not get enough! Found family namesakes and will now research them.
A 'not to be missed' experience.
