Lovely walks around the War Memorials. How far can you walk - all day, just stopped for food and drink.

Amazing place that I didn't know existed. You could spend a day here and still not see everything. It is so peaceful and the grounds are very well kept. The restaurant is lovely too and has crosses that can be taken (for a donation) to be planted on the grounds. I would recommend it to anyone and I will definitely visit again.

The National Memorial Arboretum is a wonderful place to visit. Everyone should go there at least once. I have been several times and will be going back there again. It is an emotional and thought provoking experience. The grounds are very well kept and the staff could not be more helpful. Plenty of places for refreshments. A visit not to be missed.

Visited here May bank holiday with my son and his fiancée, we booked a 2pm slot, but only managed to cover a tiny fraction of the arboretum before it closed so we made a 2nd visit. The place is so calming and peaceful it's easy to spend a day there if the weather is nice. There is a restaurant and coffee shop, but also plenty of places to eat if you want to pack a picnic.
Well behaved dogs are welcome except on the wall memorial and in the restaurant.
There is a lot of walking involved if you wish to cover all the ground, but mobility scooters and golf buggies are available to hire for a fee. There is also a road train which leaves as frequent intervals I think it's about £6 per person. Dogs are not allowed on the train or golf buggies.
There is children play area and the stickman trail for children. We plan to take our 4 year old grandson next time so will post his verdict.
There is limited places to shelter if it rains and being open can be a bit cooler if it's windy, so be advised to dress accordingly.
Entry is free but there is a charge for parking which can be paid for on line in advance for a discounted price. The car park fees go back into the upkeep of the arboretum so it's still good value for money.

Attended RBL 40th Anniversary of Falklands, well organised parking on a particularly busy day.
All volunteers helpful and friendly.
Sadly ran short of sandwiches but otherwise no issues.
The site is a magnificent memorial to all, seen the place develop over the years and like me is improving with age!!

Went their years ans was quite impressed. However, at that time it was very immature. This year gaining to the proms, but hope to do a full tour in the very near future.

A beautiful place to remember the fallen. Well thought out and you can't really take it all in in one visit. There are buggies available for those with mobility issues and also a small transport which takes you round if you need it. Lovely restsurant/cafeteria and very helpful staff.

It is such a lovely place, so peaceful and the memorials and tributes to both the armed and other services are stunning. The 'shot at dawn' memorial is heart breaking and the armed forces memorial is stunning and thought provoking. It has ample parking at £4 per day and entrance is free. There is plenty to do and learn plus if is dog friendly. It has a cafe, resteraunt and a small shop. Perfect for a short visit or spending the whole day.

Had a superb day on the Land train & walking around ,looking, inspecting & enjoying all the Memorials amongst the thousands of shrubs & trees, the river & grounds throughout.
We were fortunate to also have a wonderfully sunny day to do it all in.
The Cafeteria was well laid out & the Sunday Roast was excellent, very large servings & plentiful. Yorkshires to die for!
Staff were friendly, helpful & "not in your face". The £7 paid for the Land train was reasonable, a lot to see in Comfort & a description of all to see as you go slowly round.
Plenty of seating should you want to rest & survey.
Thank you to all the Volunteers.

Having visited many times over the years, whenever we visit there always seems to be something new to see. The trees were coming into bud and some were in blossom. We brought a picnic and used the picnic tables/benches. There are plenty of places to sit around the grounds. Always a delight to be here.
