Brilliant is the only way to describe their service. Visiting twice to estimate due to a very strange manhole discovery and surviving the endless red tape thrown up by Coventry City Council our new house now has a lovely dropped kerb and we are at last connected to the Severn Trent Foul Water System, digging and connecting during storm Francis.

From proposal to completing the work is was a good experience working with Below Ground. We had a soakaway issue and they attended site, surveyed and quoted all within a few days. The work was booked and I had expected the garden to be fairly trashed considering there was a digger on the lawn for several days, but now they have gone, the only evidence they were here are the fresh seeded topsoil lines which mark where the pipes were buried. Once the grass has grown you won't know anyone was here. They used a moler for a power cable which leaves no trace apart from the entry and exit points. Jack and his dad were friendly and curteous throughout and kept me updated with progress. The job was competitively priced, if fact they quoted, and completed the work quicker than another company even got me a quote.

After 4 separate visits and quotes from other contractors, Dan and BGS were the first team who didn’t mess me around. They turned up, identified the location of our old tank (something others tried to charge extra for), quoted competitively within days and stuck to the quote doing the job even though there were a few extras here and there. Jack and Dennis who did the majority of the work were a pleasure to work with, they respected the property and tidied up well having put in solid heavy days work every day. Dan knows his stuff and responded almost instantly to questions on text and email. A great and competitively priced company to deal with.

The team replaced an old brick septic tank with a new water treatment centre, as well as installing a new soakaway for roof guttering. Communication was prompt and we were regularly updated on progress. The job was completely on time to a very high standard and we still remain surprised at their excellent clean up job. Other than a line of soil in the grass over the new soakaway (which they seeded on completion), the garden is tidier than before they arrived! Highly recommended.

Just had our Marshal Ensign 10 system annual service. Like last years process of site visit, assessment of need, system advice, estimate and installation, the service given is excellent. All staff are courteous, professional and informative at all stages. After contact, visits were prompt and convenient to us. Being local their knowledge of our soil type and drainage was reassuring, being able to adapt the system to maximise our site potential was helpful.

Contractors were always on time, worked very hard, and obviously knew what they were doing. They were very pleasant and helped me as I was suffering with a shoulder problem. I would recommend them highly. Phone calls were made to ensure equipment was on site and collected afterwards,as the work was carried out in a period when we were shielded as a household they ensured social distancing was observed. The site was cleared up properly.

We contacted Dan at Below Ground Solutions. He was very helpful and informative. His guys carried out a percolation test which confirmed poorly draining clay soil.
BGS preferred equipment is Marsh, we went with a Ensign 8. His team carried out the installation last week. It wasn’t without problems as they hit a seam of rock, but the job was completed on time and we now have a fully functioning system that will hopefully be problem free for many years.
I have been very impressed overall with BGS and have already recommended them to a neighbour.
I will also using them to carry out annual maintenance of the system.

BGS have just finished installing a new treatment plant in our garden to replace the old septic tank which no longer met current legal requirements. Without exception, all the team have been friendly, knowledgable, polite and professional. Dan has been brilliant at overseeing the whole thing, from the first phone call to discuss the best solution to the current drainage issues, to the end of the install, with a 'can do', nothing is too much trouble approach. Special shout out also to Sam and Chris who worked extremely hard over the four days, explained what they were doing throughout and always polite and with a smile.
So pleased we chose BGS and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Site survey, applications, permits and sign-off where dealt with efficiently and professionally by Lee and his team throughout the process. Luke and the others arrived on time on the agreed date, and completed the excavation, connection, filling in and resurfacing well within the allocated time, and without the need for a full road closure, despite having to deal with high ground water levels and logistical challenges due to Covid-19 restrictions and disrupted supply chains. They were tidy and safety-conscious, and the site was cleaned after completion. The team has started filling in the now disused tank, and will no doubt complete this with the same professionalism. A special thanks also to Leanne, who runs the office, and has been super responsive!

An excellent service from start to finish. Lee arrived when he said he would and within an hour of visiting the site we received a sensible quote. Lee was also attentive to all emails I sent and responded promptly. Two weeks later Chris and Sam arrived and installed the tank in half the time we were quoted. They did a professional job making sure that all details were attended to. The garden has been restored and apart from the reseeded patches, which should grow back soon, you can hardly tell anything has happened. I would highly recommend BGS for both value for money and workmanship.

Below Ground Solutions have just competed a water treatment system to replace our cesspool. They have been really responsive and helpful in the lead up to the installation. The guys worked hard, sometimes in bad weather and all was done in 4 days. I received the warranty and photos the next day. Would highly recommend them. Thank you Dan.
