Dan, an authentic consultant and professional in his trade provided me with the most practical honest advice on getting a percolution test done for a soak away in the driveway. The builder replacing my drive requested it once it was discovered I didn't have one (due to how houses were built back in 1930s). He could have just done it, taken my money and said nothing but instead he explained how he knew the land and ground where I lived due to his experience in the region and advised against having the test. He spent 30mins of his time sharing sound advice and counsel on what to do, for no financial reward. I would strongly recommend Dan, an honest tradesman in this industry. I am forever grateful and he literally lifted the world off my shoulders. Thank you lovely Dan!

The planning for the installation was thorough and the team who came to conduct the installation, worked hard and communicated well about the process as it went along. There is always going to be a mess as you dig large holes, but they cleaned up thoroughly at the end.

If there was a sixth star I would have clicked it - Dan and his team (Luke, Dan, Annabel and Adam) were the best. They completed the sewer connection and installed the drop chamber to my new self-build house. They went above and beyond to complete the works quickly over the weekend in a pre-arranged road closure, which was shortened at short notice (through no fault of their own). Dan would have been completely in his rights to shrug his shoulders and say "not my problem" - but still pulled out the stops to get the work done for us over the weekend. Again, I really couldn't recommend them enough.

I engaged BGS to connect the property to mains drainage and to decommission the septic tank. BGS made all the arrangements and got permissions from Anglian Water. As well as my garden the sewer ran through a car parking area belonging to my neighbours. The job was difficult because a restricted work area, high water table level and the fact that the sewer ran under a wall. The contract was completed within the estimated time frame in spite of delays in delivery of materials by third party suppliers. Rich and Andy took extreme care to keep any disturbance and damage to the garden and car parking area to a minimum and reinstated any minor unavoidable damage. My neighbours were away from home when work was being done and on their return they were unaware that the sewer had been laid such was the care that was taken to restore the ground to it’s previous state. I am very pleased with the way that the contract was planned, executed and would recommend BGS for similar work.

Below ground solutions were recommended to me by people in our village. We needed a broken drain repaired plus had some long standing issues with our septic tank. They responded quickly, made some sensible recommendations and a few days later the jobs were done. Good quality work, tidied up afterwards, very happy to recommend to others.

Our W.T.E. Vortex 6 sewage treatment plant was installed very efficiently. The workmen were friendly and discussed the job with us as it proceeded. The garden was left in a clean state despite the large digger used for excavation work. The Vortex 6 was a bespoke unit due to the requirement for the outlet to be in a certain position. This was carried out by the manufacturers with Below Ground Solutions keeping us updated at every stage.

When I started looking for quotations for connecting my new building to the public Sewerage, I invited few contractors for a quote. I have to say it was not easy to so. Few of those who I invited for quoting turned up, and politely turned down the job by over quoting me. When I came across BGS, I spoke to a young man by the name of Lee Wood, a bright young man who asked specific questions about the job and soon after, he gave me a realistic quote. Once I agreed he took the whole job out of my hand, and the whole job suddenly & skilfully was ready to be excuted. A date was set for the job, and Luke and his mate were assigned to the job and within one week the job was finished to a high standard. Luke was an amazing hard working man, even the rain did not stop him from doing his job.
I believe BGS is an asset for the whole country. Well done, Mr Lee Wood, Luke and Annabel Rickets for making this tough job so easy and simple. I will use your services again and again.

I was extremely impressed with the percolation test, I was expecting mess and a churned up garden. They used large boards to protect the grass and large plastic sheet, and left little mess, after digging 2 metre deep holes!!. The men were really informative, polite and, talked through what they were doing. Thanks

Below Ground were selected by our insurer to replace a failed spetic tank. From start to finish they have been so proffessional, helpful and knowledgeable. Dan Hudson was always in touch to keep us up to date with progress. Ross and Joe (onsite) show that they really care and know what they are doing. They were up against a mud bath and rain but completed the full installation with no disruption to us of the week they were here. The customer service and work ethic of this company is beyond excellent - thank you!

Very pleased with the work in a difficult location. MD Dan Hudson did his very best to help us in advance. On the day Marcus and his mate arrived when promised and their approach was excellent, resolving what could have been a re-occurring nightmare. Mr woods came to my house , checked the septic tank to what condition it was in (i had previously had some of the liquid removed) so that he could inspect the inside of the tank he could see the inlet and outlet and was able to see it was in good condition, he also inspected the outside boundary to ascertain that there was no surface water drainage ditch near the area of the infield filtration system in my garden. Mr Woods was polite and very efficient at all times. I was very happy with the whole procedure. jr merriman
