A great local attraction, great exhibitions and it's free drop in and visit. I understand they do great classes and workshops for kids as well

Excellent day out. The museum is very modern and the exhibits are brilliant. We took the park and ride bus which was very cheap with our two little ones. They also enjoyed themselves very much. The restaurant is a bit pricey but if you wander out into town a minutes walk from the museum, then there's lots to choose from. Would be nice if the education centre was open a bit more often 😊

Very interesting displays of well selected material and good annotations. Unfortunately the cases are not well lit with the worst ones having banks of dead bulbs. Nevertheless we will return for another visit.

I went here with my best friend and we had a blast. The museum is nicely set out and a member of staff was more than happy to tell us about the place.
