I like Walsall Arboretum and the Easter egg hunt this year was lovely and well worth going to on a bank holiday without having to drive too far in heavy traffic. Not a fan on the play area it self. It's over crowded and considering the temperature was hitting 20 the council didn't turn the splash pads on and the shop was closed. The toilets are dirty also. As for the rest of the man made park it's great to walk the dog and have a leisurely afternoon

It's been a favourite place of mine since I was a kid so taking my niece was really lovely. The work they have done on the cafe and the park has really helped and we had a really nice few hours round there. It's a great space for kids to play, for joggers, for dog walkers and generally for a good bit of fresh air and time out. The park is well equipped and the arboretum itself is big enough to not feel busy even when it is. There are plenty of parking options with the car park and street parking and I'm sure we will go again.

Beautiful to walk around, clean. Park for kids and a cafe . Just a disapointment that the water section wasn't open on such a sunny bank holiday

Beautiful park and playground with lake. Nice cafe. Even had a new Defibrillator fitted outside the visitor centre. Shame some scutters dumped vodka bottles all over the tables.

The prettiest place in Walsall which is not saying much, but still it's a very nice spot to hang around. Lots of ducks and other funny birds.

This park is a great place to have a good time and play football etc. As it has alot of free grass area as well as being ideal for kids and adults with its football cage and a kids area also having a trim trail etc. It also has many benches and sitting areas ideal for chilling out.

I grew up in Walsall and the arboretum has a special place in my heart β™₯️

Photos don't do it justice, it's quite large with the main lake and smaller lake

The walk round the lake is slow but beautiful and the visitor center serves good coffee

Walk further on which is also beautiful you get to the children's play area 😁

Ok, I'm a big child but I think the area is brilliant and clean although it can get busy

Further afield you can enjoy a long walk to the end of the fields and the car park at the other end plus there are small things for adults and kids to play on 😁

Fantastic place to come for a picnic, feed the ducks or enjoy a stroll or good walk

Highly recommended πŸ‘
