Rooms “dated” but the most comfortable roomy bed, lovely soak in deep bath with hot water (not tepid). Well thought out design handrails. Great temperature in room all night. Black out curtains. Can honestly say one of the best nights rest I have ever had and would recommend it, Very reasonable in price - can’t wait for breakfast 💕

I had Cheese and Onion Pie for lunch there pie under cooked chips under cooked was it chefs first shift , got told next game in 2 weeks they are going to give me a free lunch

A Super White Stay
The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and a good size. We had breakfast at the hotel, the food was lovely, all the facilities were really good.
Nothing we would definitely stay there again when visiting family.

I always have an excellent stay here. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are large with a bath and shower. The bar is pleasant and there is a good menu of bar meals. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and noticed that they have started doing the hotel up. The bar area and the restaurant is stunning. We ate in the bar and had homemade pizza’s which tasted amazing. This would be a perfect venue to eat with friends who live locally and just want a quiet get together.
The service by the staff from reception (I think Alison) to the bar staff were very welcoming and helpful.
We had a family pitchview room and the kids loved this.
We will definitely be staying here again on our journey to the north.

staff were friendly, rooms and hotel were exceptionally clean. the added touch of the lemon water at the entrance was a lovely little touch.
was £85 for stay , no breakfast included and the breakfast was £25 each of we wanted it! found that a little too high for a paying guest. ended up walking to the harvester across the street

The staff on arrival, and throughout, could not have been more welcoming. We had a slick check in. Smiley people. Ice cold diet cokes for £1 on reception. That’s fair. Rooms had a fan but no a/c. Fine. We survived. Parking free. On departure same smiley staff. Thank you.

Attended to go to a wedding locally
Housekeeping staff were very polite and efficient if i had to criticise anything then it would be the measly amount of toilet roll, not replenished for our stay of two nights.

fantastic stay at such a lovely hotel
Prime location for Manchester, Bolton and Blackpool with train station close to stadium, easy access to retail park with all you need on site or within 2 min walking distance, lovely friendly staff good value for money clean and excellent facilities within the hotel, and great atmosphere on match day, loved it and will be booking again when next over to see family.
Maybe a little mini bar and fridge in the suites would be a lovely touch, other than that could not give any negative points.

So all the negative feedback I've seen about this hotel we honestly do not have anything negative to say. From the time we arrived till the time we left it was gold stars all the way.
I have to say a huge thanks to Sian for making our room memorable Bolton teddies left for the kids and Bolton gin and fever tree tonic for myself and my husband.
The room was perfect looking straight into the pitch my son and husband were in there element.
We shall definitely return and hopefully to see a game as well.
