Security staff were rude, bar closed at 11.15pm and at one point we couldn't even get in the hotel due to them blocking the doors and stairs!

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a great selection and freshly made. The size of our room/suite was perfect for our needs. Although we overlooked the main roads the noise level was minimal/next to nothing. So quiet. No noise heard from other guests or staff.
The bath could have been a little cleaner especially the slip mat. I couldn’t get the towel rail/heating to work. My family were not cold so and we were only stopping one night so I didn’t feel need to complain or query as it did not affect our stay.

Food. Good variety at breakfast, dinner was cooked to order. Lift squeaked. Customer service had not informed restaurant that we had paid for dinner on three nights in advance.
Direct access to the Premier Suite without ha ing to face the elements outside.

Outstanding venue
Very easy location to find and would be great i the future to hold training meeting at the venue I would have like to stay in one of the room with a pitch view I will been returning in January for business and with book a pitch view ( ref code book 10 )

We loved the location of this hotel, hotel is very nicely set out and our meal in the hotel restaurant was lovely, the fish was beautiful, staff were helpful and friendly.
There wasn't any tea making facilities in the room which we missed , also the duvet cover had a dirty mark on (like a foot print ).

Almost perfect but not quite
The beds were spacious and comfortable, the room was immaculately presented, there was more than enough storage, and the two glasses on the front unit were a very nice touch
The television facilities were disappointing, the wallpaper looked tatty in places, and I was not initially told how to operate the lights, leading to much wasted time and confusion

It was the right location for what we needed
There was no fridge in the room and the sofa bed was broken. The staff were great though and brought a bed in and made it up. The breakfast was good quality but unfortunately it was cold.

Exceptional
Every single member of staff took time to chat with us. When they enquired as to how things were they always seemed to enjoy having a chat when we engaged in conversation.

Lovely place, great breakfast!
Staff were lovely. Breakfast was brilliant!
No power by the beds and they were pretty uncomfortable. Shower wasn't great. Even though it wasn't warm outside, the rooms were a little stuffy. Location wasnt great but we left it too late to book a room in Manchester and this was the closest place with space.
