Nice hotel, staff are friendly and attentive. Hotel is great location for exploring North West. On the edge of a large retail park, lots of shops and restaurants. Train station 5 minutes walk, you can get to Manchester or Blackpool.

We have stayed at the hotel before. A little disappointed that the decor hasn’t been updated, the rooms are starting to look tired and needing a re fresh. Breakfast too expensive.

Good location, friendly staff an comfortable
some aspects are a little tired. bottom of bathroom door was water damaged and de-laminating. large cobweb high on bedroom wall. buffet breakfast generally good but time to get rid of useless self-serve coffee machine and go back to serving drinks at the table. signs suggesting using stairs on each floor but no signage saying where the stairs actually are.

Stayed only one night and arrived quite late in evening. The lady on reception was welcoming and friendly. She phoned to see if we could still get something to eat in restaurant which they said yes if we went straight up. Lovely gentleman in the bar area was waiting with menus when we got there and was extremely pleasant. Room was very clean, plenty storage space, bed was comfortable and we felt it was very good value for money.

the hotel was clean throughout and staff were pleasant. A room service menu in the room would have been useful.
The guest in the next room who had tv on loud and was talking on top note from early morning. Not the hotels fault but guests should have a bit more courtesy to others.

Lovely welcome, friendly reception, the room ready on arrival. Nice having the sofa to sit on in the room before the match to have a coffee and read , but the table too high. Should it not have a suitable coffee table.
Been coming for years , but not been since 2019 due to pandemic. We’ve Had many different rooms , the size of the deluxe double best . Even tried a pitch view room but too small. Parts of the room now looking a bit, dated, especially bathroom. Floor hard freezing cold , edges not looking great and needs heating.door strip in 621 needs repair. Should be noticed by housekeeping prior to arrival. The Tv poor. Most channels said weak signal , really ! Can’t get ch4 . . Tv a bit small for a deluxe . Larger tv on the wall with radio options . Tv advertised happy hour Friday to Sunday. Didn’t say not on match day , so not great being refused by bar staff.. lots of dirty food service trays on the floor outside the lift on 5th floor. There at 2pm , still there at 11pm . Not a great image to see every time you went to the lift.

weekend visit
location worked for us, easy to get tony road and close to train station to get into Manchester
a bit “tired” in places, needs a bit of tidying up, service was a bit chaotic Saturday evening. Food was mediocre.

Room was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent.
Due to unforeseen circumstances my room was not serviced the last few days but breakfast was not on my bill. I presume as compensation which was a good gesture. Bathroom was a little worn but clean.

Stayed due to an event at the location
Great location
The room was a bit dated. We stayed in a penthouse suite which didn’t have AC it was so hot. There was no mini bar or coffee machine. The facilities were closed and not in use.
