Myself and my partner came here on our first day in Eastbourne. The food was excellent and the service complimented it perfectly. Our waitress even explained where some of the dishes originated from in Italy. She was lovely and welcoming throughout. Can't wait to go back again!

My family and I went to Eastbourne for the day and ate here and the food was to die for- we had homemade ciabatta, homemade pastas, an eighth hour cooked bolognese, the most amazing tortellini I've ever tasted and seafood linguini which was just beautiful. The waitress came over and picked up My baby and held her while I ate and told us about her family moving to England 9 months ago and opening the restaurant and how her parents are the chefs, her husband mans the wood fired pizza oven and she is the waitress. It was such a wonderful meal and atmosphere with beautiful service I highly recommend it.

Having travelled most of Italy, this has to be one of the best Italian restaurants outside of Italy. Food, service and prices are unbelievable! Excellent value and brilliant for families or a quite intimate dinner! I've been several times and have learnt it's good to make a reservation!

been there 7...8 times with friends & family for lunch & dinner , both excellent,large choiceof pizzas pasta , poultry , meats, all freshly prepared for you...the oven came all the way from Napoli..and the starters to die for..very good service and top quality food, I`m going back next week with some new friends....please you must try it ..you wont regret it.......the only real Italian restaurant in Eastbourne and around....ciao..edmondo

we've eaten here a few times over the last year (we're not local) and have enjoyed the food and 'staff' time and time again. The food is very good and a quirky decor to the place always makes this place special, a deliberate unmistakable 'Italienesque' ambience to the place and the food, we enjoy our visit every time (my wife is of Italian descent), but the price is on the edge of getting towards high, especially for what is essentially a cafe experience serving restaurant quality food.
We'll definitely be back again next year to see what the new menu brings.

Home from home amazing food so happy we have found this place hopefully coming back very very soon. Truely the food is authentic Italian cooked by Italian people who know their stuff being taught by family through generations.

This Italian restaurant is excellent.The food is as authentic as you can get,the real Italian food cooked and served by a wonderful Italian family,who are so polite and friendly.You will not get a more friendly service in this Town.A great atmosphere to.We were very impressed,and will return again soon.Booking a must for weekend visits.

We celebrated our sons 11th Birthday here and were overwhelmed by the genuineness of the owners of this family run business who even put some Happy Birthday bunting around our table as I had mentioned the reason for our visit. The food was excellent and wholesome with great taste. The manager had a great knowledge of the food and wine and nothing was to much trouble. We will be back.

Yes, maybe the decor is not that posh and the chairs could be better but the food and the service was outstanding. Nice and cosy, not too big, lovely to have a little get together with your friends or relatives.
We had spinach and ricotta tortellini’s and a strawberry cake for desert. Delicious!!

I liked the simplicity of the place, the fact they haven't over stuffed with tables and the waitress. However, the meatballs were not brilliant, the sauce needed a good mix together and the mixed fried fish was so overwhelmingly salty I could feel my arteries hardening and couldn't finish it. I know the waitress said it is the authentic Napoli way but I've been to Naples many times and never found it so salty as to be inedible. Garlic bread was good.

Like others had said forget the decor and the plastic chairs. It very typically embellished the idea of a traditional Italian trattoria.We started with the Parma ham Bruschetta, which we split between the two of us. And I am glad we did as there were 4 slices, and very nice.
To follow we both had the special, which was a beef dish with various veg.I then had Tirimisu (I know I've spelt it incorrectly) my wife had the Neopolitan cake.
All the food and wine were superb and the service and the attention we received was excellent. Even with the wind occasionally blowing the door open added to the enjoyment. We have already booked to return.A really lovely experience from a family run business.

Decided to try this restaurant because of the good reviews. We were not disappointed it had a lovely atmosphere,the staff were friendly and helpful and the Pizzas and deserts were delicious.

This was ranked quite high on Tripadvisor for Eastbourne so I decided to take my friend and her family here for a thank you dinner, we were all absolutely surprised how excellent the service was and how phenomenal the food/dessert tasted.
You can tell the dishes were made right from scratch and it was all done with quality, I do have to admit this was a month ago so I can't remember my dish exactly but it was a stuffed ravioli with meat. The portions were not so large but the quality of it made for it 10 folds.
The employees there were just a pleasure to deal with, very informative and proud of their work.
Don't let the look of it outside fool you as it is not too much but give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

This place is great. The fried fish was fantastic too, and substantial! The staff are sooooo friendly too. During our stay they had to turn lots of people away- really popular! You need to book! Don't give up though if there is no space- persevere- it's worth the effort!

Booked this based on trip advisor reviews. A little shabby, ate at a plastic table sitting on plastic chairs, no tablecloth, paper napkins. However, the most important thing was the food which was excellent, as was the service. A most delightful Italian girl couldn't do enough for us. I had pasta with smoked salmon and cream sauce, absolutely delicious. Tiramasu - real luxury and wonderful. Would highly recommend for food, though not for a romantic evening meal.

What a lovely evening! After all recommendations on TripAdvisor we decided to check out this family-run restaurant in Eastbourne too. At first we were impressed with how "casual" the decoration was as we were expecting a "fancier" place... But honestly, who cares? We had the most lovely girl (scusami, mi sono dimenticata di chiedere il to nome) welcoming us, who later told us she's actually the chef's daughter. Food was a big Italian mix: we had some Aperol Spritz (Veneto) to start, burrata (Puglia), suplí and arancini as entries, and then a tagliata di manzo and frittura mista as mains. We were looking forward to the tiramisu for desert, but the portions were so big we couldn't make it. Coffee was really strong (and delicious). The food was really amazing and the service was a 10/10. Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone who's around.

What a lovely little place,went to the other night after reading all the reviews on trip advisor and I wasn't disappointed,they deserve to be a number one,tried their pasta and pizza,believe me they both tasted out of this world,really amazing,definitely best in Eastbourne,try this place and I'm sure you ain't gonna be disappointed,friendly service and top class food,highly recommended.

This is a very friendly family Italian cafe but the food is merely ok and the menu uninspiring. The wine list is extremely limited. If you are a local I can understand why you would want to hang out here as the atmosphere is convivial but I am sure there are better chefs and menus in East Sussex so I guess I'm saying it's ok for a pizza maybe but don't expect to have your tastebuds stimulated.
