Excellent location, warm and friendly welcome, spotlessly clean and superb breakfast. Perfect!
The breakfast was fabulous with choice of everything you could wish for and always regularly topped up.
All the staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, kind and always cheerful making it a very happy place to stay.
The room was lovely and warm, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The location is perfect being on the sea front with magnificent sea views from the dining room, lounge and bar.
The entertainment each evening was extremely enjoyable.
The private car park immediately behind the hotel was very convenient.
Some of the decoration and carpets in the hotel could do with refreshing, but this did not detract from the lovely atmosphere and luxurious feel of the hotel and I understand that some refurbishing will be done soon. This is our 2nd stay here and we shall definitely come again.

Lovely warm welcome from all of the staff, reception, bar and restaurant. We were travelling with a dog and he was made extremely welcome too. Couldn't do enough to make our short stay the best it could have been. So relaxed and eager to help.
Any poor review is unfair - great value for money and superb location. Felt like home from home. The staff are a total credit to the hotel. Best welcome we've had anywhere for a long time :) Nothing not to like. For the money, The Burlington offers great value.
My partner said that the bed was uncomfortable, although I slept like a baby !

The view was good, the food was excellent as was the entertainment, however the hotel is in very bad need of uplifting, the toilets in the rooms are dirty as are the window surrounds

Nice hotel, in need of a bit of TLC,but its not a deal breaker,good breakfast selection,great friendly polite and helpful staff great location, 1minute walk to the pier,very good transport system,some nice bars restaurants and not far from the beacon shopping centre

Excellent value for money, staff are brilliant, NYE was exceptional, we will visit again.
Directly on the seafront. Parking facilities (at a small cost) excellent location to town centre. Entertainment was good and no extra charge for NYE. Staff are superb, didn’t have breakfast as weather-spoons around the corner but overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Ladies toilet when in the function room is downstairs to the basement which is a freckle if you need to go!

Old fashioned and tired decor but the service was lovely and our room facing the sea we enjoyed. We went half board and the food exceeded our expectations even though it was a near empty dining room on our 2 night visit before Xmas.

Just had 4 days here and was overall quit impressed, only thing letting it down for me was the condition of woodwork and paint on the outside as seen from inside looking out. But generous size rooms, comfortable bed, tea,coffee biscuits all supplied, we had buffet breakfast and there were a very good choice, the best part is the location opposite the pier, 10min walk to town center and a few mins to bus stops. Will definitely be back, thank you.

I enjoyed my stay at the Burlington hotel. I stayed in a double room on the fourth floor. The lift is a bit tiny but it does the job. There is a car park at the rear of the hotel which is £6 a day for residents. You pay at reception. Buffet breakfast was good. Hot food choice of ,bacon, eggs, tomatoes, baked beans, hash browns, sausages and black pudding. Cereals and pastries and porridge and fruit and of course a toast machine.The location of the hotel is very close to Eastbourne pier. There are bus stops at the pier so you can go to Hastings or Brighton quite easily enjoying the coastal route. It is not far to walk to the shopping area I Eastbourne or you can catch a bus outside the pier. Whilst I was staying, there was entertainment each night in the ballroom area, usually a singer

The room was comfortable , but very warm.. Disabled access was a problem for my mum as the only access is through the dining room hall , which is okay when it's not busy , when it is busy , its difficult to navigate a mobility scooter round tables and chairs and people queuing to enter the dinning room hall.
It would be better if one of the set of steps at the front of the hotel was made into a ramp .
