An historic place, I particularly enjoyed the boat which had come under fire from a German stuka in World War II.

Small shop and historical display. We always find something in the gift shop and are happy to support such a good cause. They have Christmas cards all year round! Volunteer staff are always pleasant.

More of a shop than a museum selling the rather uninspired RNLI collection of goodies, and lots of left over Christmas cards in March. The two rather disinterested staff/volunteers didn't help. Would benefit from some reinvigorated and expanded museum displays.

There are lots of RNLI souvenirs, key rings, notebooks, pens etc. available for adults and children to purchase from the Museum shop at reasonable prices. There is a good selection of RNLI Christmas cards and the staff are very friendly. There is parking nearby and it's good to be able to help this worthwhile Charity.

Very friendly staff and lots of lovely gifts to choose from. The museum is a must for travellers interested in the RNLI as there were plenty of staff available to give talks about this lovely charity and the area. Nice cup of tea nearby too.

Right on the seafront, this is not a large museum, but it is fascinating. It brings home just what a wonderful organisation the RNLI is. A list of all recsues & call outs, various artefacts & models & the volunteers manning the museum were very good indeed. You wont spend that long in there, but you really need to visit this museum.

Located next to the Wish Tower this is a real worthy cause. Small museum and gift shop. Details the history of this amazing voluntary cause. Well worth visiting and supporting.

Great little shop and museum, worth a visit and a contribution, the RNLI need our support for the very good and dangerous life saving work they do, Christmas cards bought already. We visit each time we go to Eastbourne.

A good stock of RNLI-related goods and friendly, helpful volunteer staff who had time to chat but were aware of other customers.

RNLI gifts are good quality, interesting and good value. The museum part is tiny, but well worth checking out overall. A short visit is all that's needed - which could be combined with a walk along the prom.

This is a very small museum based in the old Victorian lifeboat station. It's founding story is unique and it tells a very interesting and poignant story of the station, the volunteers and their heroic deeds. You will only need 20 minutes. There are some excellent gifts for sale. I came here 30 odd years ago and I thought there was a lifeboat here at that time.

Whenever our grand children come to visit they always want to visit the lifeboat museum.
We all enjoy the many interesting items in the shop, and we save all our small change to put in the fascinating money machine outside. My sister in France even gets me to buy RNLI christmas cards for her.. Being placed by the beach it is a great stopping off place.

We visit this museum every time we come to Eastbourne and they always have something interesting. Each year I buy the following year's family calendar.

Received a warm welcome from the gentlemen in the museum. They were glad to give us a brief history lesson and point out the items on display. Worth a visit and also a good shop to buy items that also support a very worthy organisation.

This is open 364 days a year. The Museum shows the wonderful works of the R.N.L.I. with the volunteers eager to answer any questions. Well worth a visit to support and stock up on the many Life Boat orientated Gifts.
