We would have expected a little more. It was like a casino on the water from the 90s. And we didn't find everything closed at 5 p.m. that great for such a cool pier. It was rather cheesy.

Not too busy.sun still warm at 5.25 PM. Blew couple quid in penny arcade. Jazz bar outdoor seating looks inviting for long cool slurp.🍹🍺😎Eastbourne pier is older people friendly. 👴👵as well as family friendly.👨‍👩‍👧‍👧🧜‍♀️ ‍♀️🧔

Nice to walk along. I think it's sad that the night club has turned into an arcade and the fishing is no longer allowed, so many better things this pier could offer?? The Victorian tea room is beautiful and the chippy is good

The Pier is never going to be the same as it was before the fire accident as a lot of the Piers history went as well but now that a new owner has brought the pier he has changed all of pier into what he wants like painting lots of gold on seat's n loads of other stuff so as I'm a local guy who was born in Eastbourne I don't go onto the pier like I used to.
