My wife & I had a lovely meal here, this Greek restaurant is very popular & was full when we arrived, best to make a reservation well in advance! It's a very comfortable & clean restaurant with very friendly, courteous & helpful staff. The service was quick (you're given an estimate of how long it will take) The food was delicious, well presented & hot. There are toilets downstairs which are clean & the ladies had complimentary toiletries. There is also seating outside.

After reading other fellow reviews, I trusted all would be well and I wasn't disappionted, the food was delightful, fresh and tasty, they even had 12 star Mataxa! You really need to book unless you want to dine at 5.30pm and be gone by 7pm. The staff are friendly, helpful and nothing is to much trouble. Will be returning next year.

We booked after looking at reviews on T/A. Blimey we weren’t disappointed, so much so that we tried to book to go again 2 days later. Unsurprisingly they were fully booked, but we popped in the following lunchtime to check on cancellations, and the boss said he’d squeeze us in. Thank you.

We came as reviews looked so good. We tried pork and chicken suvlaki and pita bread with tzatziki sauce. It was heaven. The quality of ingredients, how it's done and attention to details and you can tell someone wants to provide great service and puts their efforts and hearts to it. We are very grateful and will not forget this experience. Thank you for best suvlaki and tzatziki sauce we ever had!

5 friends visited after Tennis and had a wonderful meal - souvlaki, dips salads and Retsina . Transported instantly to a greek island! The service was friendly and efficient and we will be back

We visited having booked months ago to make sure we had a table and a good job we did as it was packed (tennis week so not surprised) Lovely clean and modern with a warm welcome and great service. Food was excellent and typically Greek with a large selection of Greek wines sensibly priced. I had Sea Bream as my main and it was the best I’ve had. Will booking for next year!

We had some friends visiting for the weekend and decided it was time to re-visit this restaurant and we obviously booked in advance to ensure we would have a table, choosing the early sitting.
Yet again we were warmly greeted, the staff all very helpful, friendly and extremely efficient. We all chose the evening Meze and shared a bottle of red wine. We hadn't eaten since breakfast so knew we could do justice to whatever was served.The food, like normal, was excellent and never-ending! However we "forced" ourselves to continue and managed to finish all of the dishes we were served - including the puddings! Although the restaurant was very busy we didn't feel rushed and it was good to get the "buzz" from the atmosphere.
The waitress explained what every dish was and seemed impressed that the 4 of us had done justice to the lovely food, leaving the plates very clean!As has probably been said many times before, you definitely do need to book in advance in order to avoid disappointment. You will have a fantastic meal with great service and atmosphere.
Thanks again for a Gr/Eat evening meal. Our friends were very impressed and are already talking about coming to see us again and re-visiting this restaurant! (On second thoughts, perhaps we shouldn't have taken them there??!)

What a find! I initially tried to book a table here at the start of the week for Saturday evening, but was told it was fully booked....After an unfortunate experience in a restaurant down the road, we walked here on the off chance they would have a table. The lady we spoke to offered us an outside table as inside was full, we accepted as it was a nice evening. Immediately she took our drinks order and gave us some tips on what we might like to order. We had the mixed dips and feta to start (divine) and my partner had the lamb shank, I had the tiger prawns in the red sauce for mains. The lamb shank just melted in the mouth, the prawns were just to die for....the sauce itself maybe a little sweet for me after a while, BUT we will definitely be returning as there are so many dishes on their menu I want to try! Gorgeous food, excellent service and great atmosphere (even sat outside!). Not too expensive either....around £60 for the 2 of us with a rather nice bottle of white wine. So happy to have found this place.

We had the vegetarian meze and were absolutely delighted with the quality and quantity of the dishes. When we had completely eaten our fill, the waitress asked if we were ready for the main courses! We had no idea that there was more food to come. I can't rate this place highly enough. Friendly, attentive service, wonderful food, fabulous value.

We dropped in early doors as soon as they opened hoping to beat the rush, and we were warmly welcomed, although it looked like most tables were reserved for later so maybe give them a call to book if you don’t fancy dinner at 5.40pm like us

A fabulous night out with fellow hoteliers! The meze was amazing and plentiful (it just kept coming!). Everything was very reasonably priced and service was excellent. EHA member hotels offer 10% disocunt (Sun-Thur) with the passport scheme. Highly recommended!

What a fabulous night out! We chose the Meze (21 dishes) and we all enjoyed every dish. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant is in a central location and booking is recommended. All member hotels and guest houses will give you a passport to Eastbourne with discount of 10% (Sun-Thurs) at this lovely Greek restaurant.

While in Eastbourne for the weekend, we noticed Great Greek was always busy, so we decided to stop in for a bite. Fortunately, we arrived before the rush and reserved tables. Service was friendly and we didn't wait long for our food. We ordered the hummus appetizer, chicken souvlaki dinner, and calamari grill dinner. The hummus was fine, but both dinners were excellent and plentiful.

Visited yesterday for lunch, phoned last minute with 10 mins notice requesting a table of 5. They kindly offered to keep the next table which became available for us. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient and amenities clean. We all enjoyed our food - the mousakka and chicken slouvaki partucular hits. Will go again and definitely recommend.

What an amazing restaurant, plenty of vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options, went out of their way to cater for my mum who’s gf and vegan :) Such friendly and helpfully staff, especially our waitress Mckayla (not sure if i spelled that right?) And the blonde waitress who we didn’t get the name of! Absolutely delicious food, we got a selection of starters and sides to share and it was the perfect amount. Can’t praise this place enough we will definitely be back.

This is a super restaurant serving delicious, authentic Greek food. They managed to fit us in on a very busy early evening, we were off to the theatre and so didn't have the time to linger as usual. The service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was wonderful. Highly recommended.

Place was packed and we grabbed the last table, service friendly and food came quickly. Partner had seafood starter and main which was fantastic, I had the gigantic beans starter which was gorgeous, sadly the veggie moussaka was bland and stodgy. That said would go back again

We pre booked our table and it was a good job we did. The staff were very helpful, I am coeliac and they were very knowledgeable. The menu was clearly marked but they went and double checked everything for me. the food itself was lovely couldn't fault the whole experience
