One of our favourite restaurants, lovely staff, food always excellent and such fantastic value especially the Meze! Visited again on Saturday and had another perfect evening. Would recommend booking well in advance, if you love everything about Greece you will love Gr/eat!

My husband and I went there for lunch and had the menu for 2 people to share for £12.95 per person. We simply loved it. Staff was smiling and kind. Definitely worth a visit!

Great place and service, We ordered the meze for 2 at £19.99 each and was asked by the waitress if we are hungry as this is a lot of food.... we still decided to go for it....there was so many great tasting dishes served to us and could not fault any of them in any way. The waitress was right there was a lot of food and it did beat us but would go back for it again if we go back to the area.

Visited with friends. Service was good. Dips and pitta to start, good size portions. Chicken skewers for main. Chicken was tender and served well, with rice & home made chips. Atmosphere was lovely. Warm evening so all the doors were open. Make sure you book if a weekend. Will definitely return here.

We visited on a Sunday evening in July and the restaurant was fully booked (lucky we had booked too!). Helpful and friendly staff with good understanding of the dishes on offer. We had Meze dishes which were all flavoursome and as described. Only slight flaw (but nit picking here) was it took quite a while to get the bill at the end of the evening. Would definitely recommend.

Finally managed to get a table this evening - we always leave things to the last minute but, this time, because we were dining out with a friend, we booked in advance. So glad we did - the food here is just fabulous. We had a selection of Mezzes and there wasn't one dish I wouldn't eat again (when I've got more room, that is)!
Finished off with a baklava and one I can't spell or pronounce but which was delicious. The table next to us was on their fifth visit and said it is consistently reliable - we'll be back!

Have become frequent customers at this excellent and authentic Greek restaurant. Made an evening reservation this time as we are not local and usually stop for lunch.
Shared three starters ( two of us ). A very traditional Greek salad, some dolmades ( stuffed vine leaves ) and a beetroot mouse. All excellent!
For mains we both chose lamb shanks. We are Kleftiko fans so this was as close as we could get. The shanks were simply SUPERB! Cooked perfectly with the meat falling off the bone and served piping hot with a very generous portion of vegetables including parsnips, carrots and potato. Can honestly say these were the best lamb shanks we have ever eaten!!!
Complimented with a Mythos and a diet coke this was an excellent evening meal. And at less than £50 for two fantastic value!
This is a very popular restaurant. Reservation seems vital, people seem to get turned away even at weekend lunchtimes. In the case of our evening visit, a complete turnover of customers while we were eating. Testament to how good it is!

Really enjoyed our street table, chicken pitta wrap with salad, chips and tzatziki was very good value and very good. Beetroot dip also great. Fresh! Service very friendly and efficient. Will be back for evening meal. Please open a branch in Hastings area!

A friend recommended this place to us and we went with him for dinner to try it out. We all had the Meze-wow there was so much food and it just kept coming. Would definitely recommend it. Wine was reasonably priced and staff were very friendly. Give it a try you won't be dissapointed.

We chose this place after reading the review in trip advisor. We had the menu for 2, it was all delicious and portion was generous. The only thing was they forgot our main course so we had to wait for quite a while. But wont stop us from coming back...

We went hoping there would be a table and got the last one. Food was just lovely, from the starters through fabulous mains and Oh the homemade baklava.

Fabulous food, good service, really enjoyed this last minute booking. Visited with my daughter, we booked last minute and had a tight time slot because the restaurant was full booked for the rest of the Saturday evening, we were both really pleased, it was sooo good

So another trip to Eastbourne for my girlfriend and I, where to this sunny, hot Monday evening? As we walked along the road we stopped outside .gr/eat it was busy but with a few tables free both inside and out, we chose outside. The menu was typical Greek fare (a good thing) and reasonably priced. What to choose? We were both hungry and enquired about the Greek Meze for £19.95 each. We were told it consisted of a couple of traditional and signature starter and main course dishes. Ok sounds good so thats what we ordered.
OMG how much food! First off a small tomato and halloumi salad plus pita breads and three dips houmus, beetroot and garlic n chive in yoghurt. Next up a selection of nibbles (samosa type parcels with various fillings) then some deep fried halloumi. Starters over it was time for the main courses a series of small dishes (enough to share though) of mousaka followed by some chopped spicy sausages in a sauce. Then came the spicy meat balls with a mashed potato side. I then had to ask our waiter if there was anymore to come. Thankfully just the desert two boules of icecream and four baklava. The food was outstanding i have to say and the amount of it for the price was excellent value. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Had a lammshank that was tender, juzy and very tasty.
I have eaten many lammshanks during the years as I order lammshank almost every time I visit a restaurant that has got it on the menu. This was the best I have had since a long time!

We went on a busy Saturday night. Were quite hungry so opted for the mezze for £20 a head and boy did we get some servings of food. You won't be leaving hungry!

Having had more than a few pedestrian meals out in Eastbourne, it was a pleasure to eat in a place where we'll cooked food and quality ingredients took centre stage...
The starters were Ok, but the slow-roasted lamb shank was probably the best I'd ever tasted, and I've had a few over the years. My partner was pleased with her vegetarian moussaka. Along with another couple we were dining with, we ended up the last in the restaurant, but we did't feel pressured to leave, which was nice. I'd highly recommend the place...

I ate here with my family (6 of us in total) on a Saturday evening over the second May Bank Holiday. Absolutely don't be put off by the restaurant's location in a strip of slightly less savoury looking establishments - in the time we were there, they must have turned away the equivalent of two more restaurants' worth of customers, so that's how popular it is.
Our waitress was Spanish and lovely, and catering for my brother's girlfriend who had Coeliac's disease wasn't a problem at all. Their special menu involves LOTS of food; my brother and mum shared it and were royally stuffed by the end! I had the delicious falafel and then a tuna steak cooked to perfection and pinched some of my dad's baklava dessert.
Overall, everybody loved their food, the staff were wonderful and the decor is very tasteful. My only suggestion is to improve the toilets! Would definitely go back and wish there was a similar place in my hometown :)

I'd heard some really good things about this restaurant, and they were all true! We ate here on a Saturday lunchtime, a family birthday gathering and there were 10 of us in total, including 4 children (2 of them very young). We were welcomed, had a great table - and the food was delicious.
Most of us had the Greek Meze for our lunch... I didn't need to eat again until the following morning! The quantity and the quality were outstanding. The service was fabulous, and no eyes rolling at the noisy younger children in our group.
