Very good Hotel, upmarket feel, and it seems there is a dress code. Older clientele but you can snag a bargain at £45 a night here. Breakfast is plentiful, and served to your table. Dress code for dinner, so expect fancy fare. Didn't have a suit to try it. Staff were superb. Would return, if the price was right. Expect premium prices when busy though.

We come quite regularly now and the staff are always so helpful and friendly and the afternoon tea are my favourite. Particularly the home made eclairs. Love the film afternoons with tea a really lovely thing to do with my kids

The garden is such a beautiful setting. Amazing lawn and views out to the sea. The staff were very welcoming and all so smartly dressed. A hotel full of character that has modernised, but kept all its lovely historic charm. Ideal place for a relaxing morning coffee.

Afternoon tea at the hydro in the orangery is an experience not to be missed. Great spread , sea views, lovely staff ,cosy atmostphere. After which a game of croquet always ends the experience with fun. Maybe even a drink under the umbrellas. Dont miss out! The perfect gift as well
