A quaint and elegant hotel set on a hill with stunning sea views looking south, breakfasts were good and plenty, a lovely garden area and a small swimming pool , large conservatory a large bar area, plenty of seating area, s in and around hotel. Bedrooms were clean and roomy with a small fridge and safe insitu. Would stay here again.

We were guests when we visited for a lunch appointment at 13.00 on Thursday 27th of July. We were informed not when we were ushered to our table, but after 15 minutes, that lunches were running 20 minutes late. That was not correct. It was almost 14.00 before the food arrived. The food was excellent. But we were reluctant to order a sweet or tea/coffee because it may another 55 minutes. Apparently you only had one chef on duty.

Wonderful ambience, went as part of a party of 48, meals had been pre-ordered. Starter and sweet were both excellent, however the main course (roast beef with all the trimmings) was disappointing. It had all the signs of having been kept hot for too long, the gravy was late arriving as were the Yorkshire puddings (which were cold). Part of the problem seems to be that the service wasn't properly co-ordinated.

The hotel is beautiful. Outside area is gorgeous. The views stunning. There are no umbrellas by the swimming pool. The food is unfortunately really poor. They use the worst produce. Continue to visit and stay but really hope they change the produce they use. The presentation is great but the taste of everything is terrible. Please can you change your food suppliers?
