Overall a good Italian restaurant with a large choice of food in the menu. Good spaghetti alle vongole, I really like the basket of bread selection as default when arrived and my lady enjoyed the tortelloni funghi e panna. Not the best tiramisù but torta della nonna was delicious, overall was a lovely experience. I'd recommend this restaurant and come back in the future.

Superb Christmas Day lunch here today: a full restaurant was served impeccably by Ben, Michaela, Miguel and all the team. Clean plates all around with a varied menu: and all credit to the kitchen staff for a wonderful service. We are very regular customers and there is nowhere within ten miles which comes anywhere near the standard of this lovely restaurant. Thank you and well done to everyone!

We all cleared our plates. The food was delicious. One of the tastiest meals I've had in a long time. Great choice of menu.
Olives and bread on the table. Complimentary laquer after your meal. No service charge. 100% of tips go to the staff. Lovely atmosphere, staff and decor. You are not made to feel rushed. Highly recommend 👌

Wow La Locanda keeps on getting Better and Better!!
Small improvements every month this is a masterclass in restaurant management.
Food service and atmosphere is all up there with the best.
If you have not been been to Locanda for a while you are in for a treat.
Eastbourne's best just got a whole lot better.

I experienced a wonderful evening at La Locanda last night, after having been invited by dear friends. The food was really tasty, and the Mussel starter was superb. We felt a 48th Wedding Anniversary deserved a special meal out and for us there was only one place to go and we were not disappointed. Thank you La Locanda team for making our special evening even more special. As usual food excellent and the service efficient, warm and friendly. Great evening.

Lovely food beautifully cooked, presented and served. A really superb menu too. The decor and napery were rather dated, but that didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the experience.

At the time of our visit it was very busy with the staff doing their best to serve a large number of tables.

Only quibble was the gluten free choices promised did not materialise despite reassurance that they could do them if preordered. Some of the alternative food options brought to the table were ok but others were disappointing.
