Enjoyed a two night stay and found the hotel to be warm and friendly with good food. Rooms are decorated to a high standard. Hotel in a good location and an easy 15 minute walk into town, front desk are knowledgable on buses if you wish to travel on public transport. There is a car park nearby and some on street parking.

The hotel is located on the sea front and it is well worth paying a bit extra for a front facing room. They are currently upgrading the rooms and again it is well worth making sure you stay in one that has been refurbished. The resturant was very good with great service and and a fair range of choices. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order and served at table, no long lines of people fighting over the buffet. There is a well stocked and reasonably priced bar. Staff were freindly and attentative. We enjoyed our stay and will definatly go again. Thier weekend break packages are real value for money.

A warm welcome given on a really wet and windy Sunday evening. We had read many of the reviews and looked forward to our stay of two nights. We were not disappointed from the start. Our room was delightful and clean. The staff were always helpful, no request was too much for them. We ate in the restaurant on the evening of the 28th (our wedding anniversary) and unfortunately we felt it did not live up to its 2 rosette award - just average hotel food. However, as we liked the hotel so much we would try it again in case it was a one off with the restaurant.

We have never stayed in an Eastbourne hotel before and were well satisfied by our stay at the Langham. Our room was small and looked out at the back but then we hadn't asked for seaview. Our bedroom was hot all the time and the only way to keep it cool was to have the window always open. That didn't matter because the back of the hotel is quiet. All the staff - front desk, restaurant, bar - went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. Our three course dinner in the hotel was thoroughly wholesome and well priced. Unusually breakfast was served throughout by the restaurant staff.- not a buffet breakfast. Because the hotel was busy during our stay that meant breakfast was rather slow but there was nothing wrong with the full English I chose. The hotel is a long way east of the centre of Eastbourne and the nearest bus stop a short walk away.

This year was my 5th Ladies weekend at the Langham and as with every year it has been lovely. We have always had see view rooms and they are amazing, very modern and welcoming. All the staff are lovely and very friendly. I know the hotel is still in the process of being done up and so there are some rooms that are still waiting updating, however like I say I have always been lucky and got a new room which are just lovely! As i'm sure the rest will be when finished. The sea view is also amazing, We could lie in bed and see the sea. The dinners are always very good however the only down fall I have ever found with the hotel is the breakfast, the quality compared to that of the dinners is very different.

The cuisine at this hotel is of the highest standard. We would not stay at another hotel in Eastbourne although we have in the past frequented many other hotels in the town. It is well managed by a superb team and every effort is made to make your stay enjoyable. The staff are friendly and attentive and nothing is too much trouble for them. It is as good as many hotels in London and better than most.

We enjoyed this hotel on the waterfront. Deluxe room was large and in very good shape.Very good and friendly service at the front desk and in the restaurant. Bar staff still on learning curve.

We held a Gala dinner on the Saturday and there was another function elsewhere in the Hotel .There were more than enough staff to cope and the food was excellent . well done all the staff. You could not fault the hotel for cleanliness and comfort and it is in a good position right on the sea front. I would have no hesitation in going back again ( but I have now stayed there three times this year)

Just spent a weekend at this hotel is was fab, staff are great and so helpful, room clean and nice, the food was brilliant will return here again and recommend this to others. The owner was there and was very pleasant

Stayed at the hotel 20th. September for three nights for a reunion weekend.Excellent location overlooking the sea.Everything about the hotel100 per cent,{except for the choice of Lager beer!}Can't wait to come again next year,already booked.

We stayed over a long-weekend (Friday-Sunday). Food was excellent, staff very helpful and friendly.
Our bedroom even had a 4 Poster with canopy. Only negative was that lighting in the bedroom was therefore not so good as canopy blocked the electric light! However during the day the views over the sea and towards the pier more than made up for it.
Thoroughly recommended.

Stayed at the Langham for 1 week an we had an amazing time. Room was very spacious with a newly refurbished bathroom..... so I was very happy.
Food in the restaurant was brilliant we had lunch on sudsy and it was fantastic. A hotel I will return back to in the future.

Family run hotel who's owners and staff really go out of their way to welcome and ensure a comfortable relaxing stay. Nothing is too much trouble. In short comfortable beds, great food, relaxing surroundings, accommodating staff, there are numerous special events and entertainments that are available if you so wish, could not ask for more. Would recommend with confidence.

We were a party of 5 booked to stay for one night in order to celebrate our 92 year old grandmother's birthday.
Having dropped off a couple of the party we parked in a local street for free.
We were checked in quickly and efficiently and took the lift to our comfortable room.
Grandma was impressed by how warm her room was, (not at all like previous visits to Eastbourne in the 1970's) although it was a little too warm for me.
We had a few drinks in the bar and a lovely dinner in the restaurant, service very good in both.
Breakfast was also excellent with loads of choice and more very attentive service.
I enjoyed the eclectic selection of original art on display throughout the public areas.
All in all a very pleasant and relaxing time was had by the entire party and we particularly enjoyed the impromptu "conga" gleefully undertaken by members of the visiting "Ulster society" which snaked out the door of the bar along the hotel front and back in through reception.
(it took some persuasion to stop Granma joining in and she still called me a spoilsport)

I had the good fortune to stay at this hotel earlier this year when I organised a group visit for people from Europe. Enjoying the experience so much that I brought another group for a reunion weekend from the 20th September 2013. One again this hotel exceeded our expectations for friendless, comfort, food etc. Although the hotel had other groups (larger than mine of 32) staying there; the attention to detail by Neil and Wendy's staff was first class. From taking bags up to rooms upon arrival to supplying wheelchairs etc it was 'service with a smile' all the way.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to one and all. In fact I hope I can find another group to bring here soon.

The Langham Hotel was fantastic! They put a lot of hard work into helping Essex Bowls Club have a very successful and enjoyable time in Eastbourne. The food and general ambience was excellent. Everyone was very impressed by the final presentation night dinner of 5 courses and the lovely menu card they produced.
We will definitely be booking another trip back!

This was our first stay here,we parked outside and went in to see if we could book in earlier than stated,this was no problem at all,we took our car to a secure car park,5 mins walk away,the hotel provides this facility,leaving our luggage at the hotel(which was taken in by a member of staff)by the time we got back our room was ready
,this was about 12.30 pm,very spacious room with excellent views across the bay.The staff were very friendly and helpfull in every way,nothing was too much trouble,breakfast was served to our table both days we were there,again excellent service.We will stay here again without doubt,what a lovely place to stay

As the Langham was fully booked, we visited the hotel for our evening meal.
We were so impressed with the food,the service,and the attention to detail we booked again for another evening.
We were not disappointed for although the main restaurant was full with a large coach party, our service in The Conservatory Restaurant was exemplary.
We are planning to visit Eastbourne again and return to your sample your excellent cuisine.

Just back home after a 4 night break in Eastbourne at the Langham Hotel. What a lovely
surprise - real people and real food. We were part of a group of 32 and the hotel staff
treated us all as individuals and catered to our every need. The staff have evidently
been very well trained and work as a real friendly team. The chef and his staff are
to be complimented for being able to deal with so many people - there were other
groups staying - so efficiently and presentation was excellent. We will definitely
return. Our thanks to all the A Team at the Langham and we wish them all

If you're looking for a Wedding Venue then don't waste your time looking anywhere else. The whole experience was fantastic for us. Simon the General Manager looked after us every step of the way and we are not easy to please ! All of the staff are very efficient, friendly and fun, the food at the wedding breakfast was incredible quality, piping hot and as good if not better than any restaurant I've been to. The rooms are all very clean, spacious and enjoy fantastic views across the channel. Also very good value !

At the Langham Hotel, you are made to feel special as you walk over the threshold. The reception staff are courteous and friendly, the restaurant offers excellent meals, with a daily changing menu and efficient friendly staff. The room was beautifully furnished with superb bathroom, its worth the supplement for a room with a seaview.

From the moment we arrived the staff were excellent, polite & helpful. The 3rd floor bedroom had a firm bed that gave us two good nights sleep, great sea views with plenty of room & big enough en-suit, thought the shower cubicle was a tad small. Bar snacks were varied, presented nicely and not over priced. Breakfast ! at last a hotel that cooks one to order, & doesn't leave food stewing under hot lamps, loads of polite staff. The evening meals were with a very large party that the restaurant coped with superbly. We found street parking very close but car parking was a bit away, though one could unload outside the hotel easily. If we go to Eastbourne again, we will stay here. Rob & Joy

Lovely hotel, paid for a delux seaview room with free wifi.......... Not had wifi in my room since I arrived! Reported to manager was told to bring device down to reception and use there! Errr, i want to do some work in private in my room rhank you!!! Not impressed in this day and age most hotels provide wifi. Food excellent, service good. But would like wifi as promised!!!

We arrived on 19th august for a summer break of 6 nights. We have stayed here on a number of occasions before and have always found the hotel to be excellent, therefore that was the reason to come back and stay for a week. from the moment of entering the entrance the staff were very courteous and helpful. we were shown to our 2nd floor sea view room. Great view. we had a small problem with the bathroom window, which was not sorted on the first day, I mentioned the problem again the next day, and we were promptly moved to another room on the 3rd floor, Lovely room with comfy bed and superb shower room. Lounge and bar area's are very comfortable. Conservatory Restaurant has a great position on the seafront and also has a very high standard of food and service. Parking can be a problem in nearly all seaside resorts, but " Langhams" have facility's just around the corner. All in all... a lovely place to stay!

Over the uk bank holiday we stayed at the Langham with relatives and had a reasonable time. There were some issues with our room which I mentioned to the hotel. Due to these comments when we returned a week later the owners (Neil and Wendy) had taken the time to review my comments and correct not one or two but every issue I had mentioned in full. Neil then met with us personally before we left, showing a real dedication to ensuring a guest leaves feeling special.
I highly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing stay of real quality stay at the Langham. Our return truly gave us faith that there are still some managers/owners out there that do care and do listen. Would certainly return again in faith that the team there would make us feel special.
