We went to Sabaidee early on a Saturday evening as a pre-theatre treat thinking we would be the only ones in there. Far from it, the place was heaving which always bodes well. The service was friendly and efficient, exactly what you need when on a time restriction. We were both very happy with the food we chose, it was all delicious, and the price was reasonable too. We would definitely recommend.

Yet again I had a lovely meal at Sabaidee last night. Took two friends who had not eaten there before and they loved it. Lovely green curry, great 'weeping tiger' steak strips with the special Sabaidee spicy sauce. Topped off with May's fantastic chilli mojitos and a very interesting red and fragrant liquer!!! Service was great as well, as usual. Top marks!!

I tried this restaurant after visiting Eastbourne. I have to say the atmosphere upon entering was a bit strange and we felt all eyes were on us as we entered. Having said that the staff were very friendly and attentive and the food lovely.

Our first visit to this delightful resturant in an area where you can actually park the car nearby. The resturant has had a make over from the last owners which has given it a nice feel and atmosphere. The menu is varied and will suit most diners who love thai food.Wines are reasonably priced with a varied drinks list to tempt those who do not have to drive.
Friendly and lovely staff who were attentive but not overwelming. The food was nicely presented and not over priced with a three tear set menu for those who cannot make their mind up.we will go back to Sabaidee to enjoy the food and atmosphere.

As we aren't able to go out on New Years Eve these days, we treat ourselves to a meal on New Years day.

Staying over in Eastbourne tonight and wanted to eat locally but a change from the norm. The hotel recommended Sabaidee and most reviews were OK.
I called, booked and my Father and I first in at 545pm for a quiet post Christmas meal. Nice and friendly welcome, offer of menus/ drinks and prawn crackers and dip brought. Nice Thai bottled beers..
We had a mixed starter to share, usual veg spring rolls/ king prawns/ satay etc - good quality/ hot/ tasty.
Mains were nice - we are not regular Thai diners but have enjoyed several different Thai restaurants in the past - Red Curry and a grilled/ marinated chicken main with veg noodles and a rice. No complaints, very nice food and polite staff that checked we were happy.
Restaurant was nice inside, smart, traditional style décor and 'authentic' music! Not the cheap or expensive so good/ OK value.
All round good experience for a first time at Sabaidee, so recommended.

I'm picky about Thai food having visited the country twice.
This was my first time at this restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. We ordered fish cakes, soups, pad thai noodles and red curry.
All of the dishes were authentic and delicious. The tom yam soup was very spicey, the way I like it and the mains were sweet and good sized portions, in fact we couldn't finish everything. The service is very attentive and smiley. The decor, lighting and music were the ideal backdrop to a great meal. Recommended!

I had a takeaway from here tonight. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very welcoming. The atmosphere was comfortable and warm while I waited for the food which arrived promptly. The food was extremely good with lots of chicken - the only improvement would be a few more vegetables.
Overall, a lovely restaurant - I'll definitely eat here again.

Whilst the squid was chewy (overcooked), everything else was glorious and served with typical khwām s̄ng̀ā ngām (grace) by beautiful staff. Whilst the cost was a bit steep, I would still recommend the Sabaidee for a friendly atmosphere and good service.

We went to Sabaidee by chance after we decided against our default setting of gastro pub or Italian. What a difference a day makes.Unlike the reviewer's experience from the day before, the place quickly filled up from 6PM and we were lucky to get a seat. Furthermore the service was impeccable from first moment to last from all staff, so much so that we decided a bigger tip was well justified. After complimentary crackers and chilli sauce the starter to share was on the good side of standard. The main dishes were deliciously fresh, well executed and were presented with wonderful vegetable carvings ( the carrot ones were definitely edible). Although we thought the portions were slightly small at the start - by the end we had no room for dessert, an unusual occurrence for the wife! A Great meal,

Had a group booking with some friends for a special meal out. The place had a warm friendly ambience and staff were in Thai dress which gave it a more realistic feel and a special touch. Very relaxing. Good choice of menu at reasonable price. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food and had no complaints about quality or service. Would visit again.

We scored this place top marks on just about everything. It is possible that there are 50 better restaurants in Eastbourne but I very much doubt it. Probably there are rave reviews for lesser establishments which skew the overall results.
The service was friendly and attentive. If you like Thai food you will not be disappointed.

I visited this wonderful restaurant with my daughter to find a real gem. The food is delicious and the waitresses were polite and very helpful, explaining dishes we were not acquainted with before.
Once it all arrived we were not disappointed. We had two courses , beer and wine and it was under £40 so great value for money.I thoroughly recommend this restaurant!

This restaurant served good Thai Food. The service was also very good. We ordered three dishes and two drinks which cost forty five pounds. The portions were ample for two of us.

We thought we would try this restaurant again after finding out about it's new ownership.
The service was very good. The waitress spent a lot of time explaining about the different dishes which we appreciated. We had only a starter and main meal, both of which were excellent. We were too full for a desert. The Thai wine was good and also reasonably priced. We even got offered a drink on the house which is a nice touch
We'll be back
