Had a great meal here on Saturday night. Was busy so food took a bit longer than usual to come (still not a long time though) and staff apologised and gave us some prawn crackers. Two main courses - paad thai and green curry. Both were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

I took my partner here for a meal, as a birthday treat. We were given a warm welcome and were impressed with the tasteful interior. Our food arrived promptly, and was very nicely presented. We had the set menu for two and some sweet and sour chicken, which was all very tasty and filling. We finished off with custard cake and a coffee, which was lovely. All in all we had a lovely evening and would definitely recommend a visit .

As new comers too Eastbourne we are still trying out the restaurants on offer. This one has however become a firm favourite. The food is consistently good, service excellent and ambiance very pleasant. Make a booking to avoid disappointment.

I went here on my Birthday as a treat :) I had got takeaway from here before but never eaten in...the food was lovely before and I didn't expect anything less. Anyway My girlfriend and I went here on a Saturday night the place was heaving and we were lucky to get a table and thank god we did. Even though the place is really crammed this adds to the atmosphere.
The service was excellent and so was the food - I couldn't find fault and will be coming back againIf you like Thai food ....come here!

Six noisy close friends pre fuelled and recommended to this place were not disappointed, in fact we were stunned with the quality and variety of the food. Our strategy for ordering worked well too, we ordered a sharing platter for starters and then all ordered a different main course the sea bass was sensational, Thai green curry the best ever, Singapore noodles the best yet and pork, beef and duck in various incarnations were all perfect, two bottles of house red, a glass of rose and a beer together with a bottle of sparkling water for our nominated driver raised the bill to £25 a head with a 10% tip, all in all sensational value, well done to the team we will be back soon

Ate here for the first time last Thursday before the theatre. A cosy pretty little restaurant with lovely helpful and attentive staff. Food was divine! Thai Marina has been our local but will be visiting here from now on as just so much better. Reasonably priced wine too. A very lovely little Thai restaurant. Well done.

The staff could not have been more friendly.
We both had set menu B which was all excellent. The duck in particular was excellent. There was more than enough food.
The place wasn't full but had a nice atmosphere. I would definitely go back.
I would highly recommend this place and would love to go back. £25 per person was a bargain.

We ate in here on a Friday night. It wasn't packed but it had a nice atmosphere. We had set menu B which was fantastic and more than enough food. The duck in particular was amazing.
The staff were friendly, the service quick and I just couldn't fault the place. I would highly recommend this.

This restaurant is welcoming from the moment you walk in.there is an excellent menu and the waiter was helpful in giving suggestions when we struggled to choose as there was so many choices we had amazing mussel starter. And the weeping tiger sizzling steak was a triumph all in all a greatbThai meal

Perfect for pre or post theatre. Staff readily will recommend dishes. Chicken wings with garlic amazing. Money bags also a great starter. Main course green curry couldn't be faulted , plenty of rice. Service excellent. Wine reasonably priced.

Of all the nights to turn up without a reservation, Valentine's Night, we were treated by the staff with a warm welcome who slotted us in for a pre-theatre meal. All of the staff were very friendly and service was very efficient. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. The acid test in our experience was how the spring rolls and tempura was cooked and the cooking was light, and tasty.
We had two curries with rice which were full of taste and a very reasonably priced bottle of wine. Great food, great service, when we are back in Eastbourne we shall this time book but we will definitely come back. This restaurant should be higher up the rankings on TripAdvisor!

My arrival in Eastbourne for a three night business stay was late and therefore I didn't get to Sabaidee much before 10pm. None-the-less the restaurant was open and the staff (and chef) willing to serve. That said, I wasn't the only customer at this hour.

I chose the mushroom Tom Yum soup which was more spicy than my regular Thai restaurant but as someone who enjoys spice there was nothing wrong with that!
I had the Pad Thai noodles with king prawns for main but of note was the service between the main courses...

Clearly I had walked in too late for the chef's liking as, before I had finished my Tom Yum soup, the waitress came up to me suggesting I'd like my main. This was a big mistake.

It was obvious the chef had suggested the waitress approach me with the idea I'd like my noodles before I'd finished my soup. He just wanted to clear up and go home. If that were the case, I should have been told they were closed before I was welcomed in.

On this basis alone, Sabaidee Thai lose one of the five Google stars for poor service: If you accept a diner through your door to eat at 10pm, treat them as you would at 8pm.

My daughter and I went to the theatre and wanted to eat afterwards. I used trip advisor to find a decent. Place in Eastbourne and it came up with this little gem about 100 metres from the congress! The food is freshly cooked and incredibly tasty. We had a sharing plate starter with prawn crackers followed by the crispy duck and pad Thai chicken stir fry, sides were plain noodles and coconut rice....wow this was really good. I recommend a visit if you want. To combine eating/theatre

A Thai restaurant near the beach which was value for money. We enjoyed the food but wondered if some of it, such as the sesame prawn toast and other starters, had come straight out of a packet? The decor is a bit stark. Service quick, smiling and professional.

Superb food and superb service spoiled only by the price of the desserts. Starter of Chicken with Sabaidee (Satay) sauce amongst the best and Sweet and Sour Chicken with rice also excellent. Lovely people serving. My only criticism and this applies to almost all restaurants these days is that the cost of a dessert seems to have rocketed beyond belief. An ice cream in a pot at £5 is too much in my opinion. I cannot just blame Sabaidee. It appears that most food places have done the same and hiked up the sides to a ridiculous amount.
Delicious food and great service. Highly recommended all the same.

I visited here a few weeks ago with friends whilst visiting Eastbourne. It has a cosy atmosphere, is clean and the food certainly didn't disappoint.
As there was 4 or us we all ordered different dishes and shared and the food was some of the best Thai I have ever had. Staff are happy to make dishes as hot or mild as you request and make some great suggestions if you are unsure what to order.Price wise, I have seen loads of reviews saying how expensive it is, it's not cheap but it's also not what I would class as expensive and for the price the food is more than worth it.
I look forward to visiting again if I find myself in Eastbourne in the future.

An early supper with an elderly relative posed no problems for this restaurant. One of the dishes was changed at our diners request using Oyster rather than soya sauce. The size of the portions were very generous, nicely presented and tasty. I look forward to going back for a leisurely meal.
