Had a fabulous week at Sovereign Harbour - the harbours offer lots of fantastic restaurants that are reasonably priced - and the area is so clean and the locals so helpful. I’m rebooking for next year - so much to see and do at a quiet sedate pace - looking forward to continuing the adventure in 2019

Decided to go to Eastbourne for a day during my weeks holiday in Eastbourne. First stop was Eastbourne shopping centre where I picked up a few bargin's. Next onto the pier and along to park with lake to enjoy views and relax. Last afternoon visit was to Sovereign Harbour for lunch
overlooking boats, great weather and great atmosphere in Harbour.
Good day out and not too far to drive from Brighton. Well worth a visit.

The harbour has a great choice of food outlets and, when the weather is good a great place to just sit and watch the boats

Walked here on the sea front, there is a nice park with a big lake to sit and watch the swans and people learning to sail

If you are looking to kill some time then nothing beat a day out at the EASTBOURNE Waterfront. Plenty of walkways round the inner harbour looking at all the boats moored in the inner section. Walk down to the outer harbour lock and see first hand how the system work by letting boats in and out of the harbour. Take a further walk to the Martello tower and look out across the harbour to Bexhill and the Pier in the distance.Plenty of good quality eating places. From Indian, burgers, Italian, fish and chips, and just a coffee and cake at my favourite Di Lietos.
All good value for money!!

This Marina is a great place to walk, relax, eat, enjoy a coffee. It has been well designed and is now a favourite spot to visit and to be recommended for all who visit Eastbourne.

Great for the staying here or mooring.

Would be 3 stars of there wasn't seals visiting, it's basically a load of boats with some shops and a restaurant or two.

We were more than lucky as there was a Regatta taking place at the time. The place was buzzing. Several shops and lots of quality eating places along the water's edge. You can take a boat tour round all the different parts of the harbour.

sovereign harbour is worth a visit to either enjoy the views as you walk around the promenade or to experience one of the many cafes, bars or restaurants. it also helps that there is free parking nearby and good disabled accesss

Lovely stroll around the marina and down to the beach. Can access most areas from the bridges.. Can take time to get across if lots of boats going in and out.

Sovereign harbour came up quite a bit when we were looking for things to do in Eastbourne. We ventured there on the last day and were glad we hadn't wasted a day of our holiday with sovereign harbour as our planned day out. There are plenty of restaurants and what looked like a decent walk around the harbour, but very little else to do, especially if you and children. The car park was ever so confusing to find the entrance and everything was a bit "new estate" type of place. If it's dinner you are looking for then there is plenty of choice but I wouldn't bother for any other reason.

Head there from Eastbourne, Plenty places to eat, get an ice cream or a drink, serene place to have a walk around the harbour and towards the sea front but gets busy around the restaurant area, there are shops as you come off the roundabout but not so by the harbour, this is more a chill out eat, drink, view and walk place. Very upmarket area. View a boat to buy maybe or just get some chips, then head towards Pevensye Bay.

Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants for a day out or evenings entertainment and walking past all the boats there. Very up market yet family friendly. Mind the little ones while there.

There were many restaurants at the Marina, and we were made very welcome and had a lovely coffee at the Kantina.

We stay here often, visiting family. There's always something going on, boats moving in and out. There is a good selection of restaurants for breakfast and evening meal. Asda and other shops, plus a cinema, are a short walk away. It can be noisy in parts, with bridge sirens and such. There are a lot of dog owners, some of whom need to be more diligent about their poop. It would be nice if there were more green landscaping.

Well established marina - great for yachties and mere mortals.
It promotes itself as shopping / dining experience with free parking.
Parking good; restaurants and bars fair to good. Shopping . . don't get excited . . NEXT, SportsDirect, TK Maxx. Matalan and Boots.
BUT for people watching - boat watching - strolling - harbour boat trip - drinking and eating - definitely worth a visit

Went today with my daughter and four year old grandson, beautiful area. The boats are stunning, wonderful to watch them sail. Locals are chatty and love talking about how beautiful it is there. Strolling along with the sun shinning, we ate at the harvester, so peaceful seated outside by the water, food was great, service was great, everyone seemed so friendly. I didn’t want to leave. The atmosphere at the harbour is so relaxing. The views so stunning, I had just worked a 22 hour shift yet I feel renewed and invigorated! I wish I could spend every day at this beautiful harbour!
