Although the harbour is a little bit out of town it was well worth the land train ride to get there. There were loads of places to eat and drink and also an out of town shopping centre with major retailers.

The shops are unique, with lots of different ideas. The coffee shop we used was excellent. Nice to wander around and see all the different sailing crafts

Drove down to the free car park and walked around. Like most of these developments, they are pretty lifeless. There are a number of cafés overlooking the waterfront but most pretty dead when we were there.

This was my second time here and it has grown quite a bit
in the last few years. More shops, restaurants etc. With the
sun shining the other day you could pretend you were in
Vilamoura! We visited Pablos on the waterfront for lunch
and it was really nice, great value too. We shared a pizza
and a pasta both of which were excellent.

We had walked there which was a bit of a slog, so travelled
back on the 'Ditto' land train which was fun and nicer than
going by bus.

I will one day (when I win the lottery) buy a nice penthouse apartment here.
Soveriegn harbour village is a really good place to look at the yachts and day dream whilst having a nice meal, or just a drink, al fresco.
There are boat trips available, and a few years ago I was able to take a power boat driving course here.
A good selection of restaurants Thai, Italian, English, Fish & chips, plus a Harvester Pub . Also Boutique shops.
There is also a Retail Park here so well worth a visit

Free parking yes and you can get a drink and something to eat. This is basically a marina, somewhere to keep a boat with adjacent dwellings. Not really a tourist attraction.

Although there are restaurants and cafes there is not a main attraction to attract people all year round. The Rodeo day was a bit of a wash out as far as I was concerned. There was a big hype but when you got there it was very disappointing. Maybe a gift shop at reasonable prices selling harbour souvenirs, shells etc . Maybe a play area while the adults can sit and have a coffee or beer.

Apartments which they have built are very smart and the surrounding areas are kept in good order

Great place to enjoy a drink and a meal. A variety of restaurants and bars all overlooking the marina. Plenty of outdoor seating. Take a stroll along the walkway and admire some of the most elegant yachts and boats. Thoroughly recommend this place for an evening out. Only thing is you'll need transport there and back.

We spent a very pleasant half day in June-crab sandwich lunch at Seasons-a film in Cinema-dinner in Ganges Indian overlooking the harbour-the only thing I didn't like was the "Garden Bar" -more like a noisy London local pub

Lovely bus ride, lots of shops, harbour walk was lovely. Harbour was filled with boats, some were extremely beautiful, (very jealous, they looked expensive.) Lots of places to eat and drink, plenty of seating for breaks in the walk.

I visited this harbour with my Grandad in April. The harbour is a great place to visit with many shops, bars and restaurants. The harbour is brilliant for all the family as it is bigger and has more attractions than other harbours in the United Kingdom. I recommend anyone visiting Eastbourne to come and spend the day at this fantastic harbour.

On a sunny day sipping a glass of wine, looking at all the boats, you could easily by in the South of France. There are some nice places to eat or have a coffee. You can take a boat trip around the Harbour . There is also a shopping area with a large ASDA, TK MAXX, Matalan, Boots and cinema within walking distance. Some of the restaurants have entertainment in the evening. We haven't as yet but you can rent an apartment.

Drove to Sovereign harbor although you can walk from Eastbourne and it is about 2 miles from the pier.
The day we went it was packed with people enjoying the sunshine.
Had a lovely walk round the marina watching the boats go in and out and had a nice meal at the Harvester, the biggest one in the country aparrently.
Really recommend it

although a thoroughly modern harbour, there are still historic things to see. A great bonus is ample, free parking very close by.
