All under cover and good access for wheelchairs. Ordered cheese and pickle sandwich at Central café. It was very fresh and the latte nice and creamy. Loved the men's gadget shop!

Even though the Beacon is still in development, I think it looks lovely, the shops popping up are useful, I think the only one I don't really agree on is Rolex, we already have 2 other expensive jewellery stores in the area, but if it brings in cash flow to Eastbourne then I'm not complaining.
I've also found the Beacon improves traffic through the Arndale centre.
I'm excited to see it finished.

Work continues on the shopping center & on the road outside. Very disrupting. A right mess outside. Main new doors make entrance very cold. Still only one set of toilets. I hope they open the second door as horse-shoe shape was very useful. Luckily there is still the back door by Primark or it'd be a very long way round & shoppers like me, probably wouldn't bother. Still it was very busy in the middle & lots of original shops.

It's a little smaller than we hoped, the M&S is smallish and in need of modernisation, Debenhams is like stepping back to the 60's...there is good parking in the multi-storey.
Now expanded and far better for it, when the pedestrian area outside is finished it will all be of great benefit to Eastbourne.
