Lovely coffee, but took forever to arrive. Were about to leave when it finally turned up. Service impeccable, but over 35 mins for one iced coffee and two Americano's ? Appreciate it is new, but still

The gallery has a nice interior but there were not many exhibitions. Barbara Hepworth's exhibition was very nice but the ticket was £12 which I think is slightly overpriced.Visited on

A very modern looking art gallery with an amazing collection of paintings. The star of the show for me was the Eric Ravilious collection. The entry is free but there are paid exhibitions happening in the gallery too. Also has a nice restaurant inside. Even the outside of the gallery is a work of art. German artist Lothar Götz transformed the exterior walls of the gallery with his large-scale, colourful geometric artwork, 'Dance Diagonal'. A must visit on your trip to Eastbourne

Interesting and busy gallery in the Devonshire quarter of Eastbourne. Permanent collections which are refreshed periodically and an outstanding Eric Ravillious exhibition.
Many exhibits are of a local nature.
The building it's self is superb inside and out.
The cafe/restaurant is great. Small and large plates, as well as tea.
All highly recommended

This is an exhibition with an entrance fee. It gives details of Barbara Hepworth's life and shows how her impact was beyond sculptures and even touched on politics. Of course her main artwork is on display at The Tate St Ives so ideally this exhibition is best thought of as an introduction. The galleries are well set out with plenty of space and there are other free exhibitions in the gallery.

Fabulous gallery, not huge but a nice space. The shop had some great gifts. Cafe was stylish but didn’t have time to pop in. There was a ceramics market when I was there which was excellent.Visited on

Excellent gallery and wonderfully helpful staff. I would recommend Fabulous Greyson Perry piece that I particularly enjoyed. Good old GP never disappoints. Good disabled access.

Nice modern art gallery. On the first floor there is a hall available for visiting, with free entrance. There is a cafe-bar and a small shop with art souvenirs. I recommend.Visited on

It's got a new restaurant inside and really good for a nice bit of lunch or just a quick tea. Bookings are very hard, and you may need to pick a certain table to eat. As for the menu a little fancy for me - it's a small one - around £10. I only drink tea there. There is the cinema as and gallery which is such a nice place to relax. I often go in there just to switch off from the world. 😊👍 I would give this place 5 out of 5 based on all facilities and the politeness of staff.
