Visited for the first time last week as an anniversary treat. The atmosphere is good and the restaurant open and airy. The staff were pleasant and attentive complimenting a liesurely dining experience. Notably it is the first time I have had a steak cooked to perfection for nearly 45 years - these days they are all too often cremated or so undercooked that prodding the meat with a fork would cause it to moo! The chef is to be complimented on their expertise. the starters are excellent and the portions correct to satisfy but not overfill. As I have already commented the main was cooked to perfection and the accompaniment well chosen and excellent. The sweets were tantalising and the one my wife tried was excellent. Coupled with a bottle the bill was not excessive. A thoroughly enjoyable evening which we look forward to repeating.

This is the second review I have written. My husband and I ate at the Two Bulls last Saturday evening, and there was absolutely nothing we could fault with the whole experience. The new bar is a fabulous place for a pre-dinner drink, and we received wonderful hospitality (as always) from Delphine and Oli. Our steaks were just mouth wateringly succulent, and cooked to perfection, and the garlic butter sauce is a wonderful accompaniment. I usually have a peppercorn sauce with a steak, but the garlic butter is just too good to miss out on.
Great ambience, great staff - everything was truly wonderful. Although we didn't have a lot of room left after our wonderful meal, we did manage to share a plate of cheese and biscuits with a glass of port. We received a truly fine selection of cheeses, biscuits AND bread. This restaurant always goes that extra mile for its customers and if you haven't been yet, you really are missing out on an exceptional treat.
Cannot recommend it highly enough, so if you've been thinking about it, take the plunge - you won't get a better steak anywhere!!!!

We recently took friends to the Two Bulls after boring them for nearly a year about how terrific it is and they were totally bowled over. When they calmed down they did make one little suggestion which sounds good to us. He loved his prawn cocktail starter but she doesn't like fish and found the other starters a bit too heavy-sounding, particularly if you are to keep room for a pud, which you must. So how about that other retro-favourite starter, avocado vinaigrette? We reckon that would be a perfect commencement.
Absolutely love the new cocktail bar, BTW.

First got taken here on Valentine's day and it was amazing and couldn't wait to come back. My dad's 60th was in June and normally it's impossible to take him anywhere where he doesn't moan about something... until this place! I don't know who was more shocked me or him but he LOVED it and it was just as amazing as I remembered. We did the Sunday deal for dad's birthday and got a bottle of wine, a starter and pudding along with the main for £50 for 2 people. I can't fault anything and can't wait to come back :)

We knew this would be a good steak house because after 2 attempts we finally got a table so make sure you don't try and book last minute because it's impossible. It's a popular restaurant though for good reason. The choice of menu is outstanding everything sounds delicious! There's lots for vegetarians too and a good choice of steaks. Everything came cooked exactly how we asked for it. You pay extra for side dishes like mushrooms etc which was the only part I thought was little bit cheeky because the steaks are £20 at least. It's a very nice meal though which we didn't mind
paying for. The bill was £145 for 4 of us and that was with 2 drinks each and 2 courses. Staff were friendliest I've seen for ages and very helpful with menu. Excellent atmosphere! Will definitely be returning soon. One of best restaurants in Eastbourne without a doubt.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal here to celebrate our son's birthday. Why is it so hard to find a proper speciality steakhouse? The choice is very limited, so going by recommendations on trip advisor we gave the Two Bulls a try. Very glad we did, the steaks were superb and cooked exactly as we asked for them. My wife had the scallops which were delicious also. We all had starters (mackerel pate is amazing) which left us no room for pudding! The staff were very helpful, even offering to show us the raw steaks so we could decide which cut to go for. Not the cheapest night out but you get what you pay for and this restaurant deserves to do well. Give them a try if like us you're carnivores.

We arrived early in the evening and received a warm welcome. The lady who served us gave good advice on how to have the steak cooked. The meal was quick to arrive and was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection. Not a cheap meal but well worth the money. We will return again.

This used to be my local pub. I moved away and was back in there for the first time in about ten years. What a transformation. Those who complain about the decor (which is fine, in my opinion) should see how it used to look!
On to the main event - the food. At the time of writing they were doing a promotion - dinner for two (3 courses) and a bottle of wine for £50. We also picked up a leaflet for a free cocktail and I enjoyed a hot and spicy Bloody Mary to begin.
The service was light and friendly, neither too in-your-face nor too reserved. Our orders were quickly taken and the starter was brought shortly afterwards. It may seem a bit rushed but really we had the time to pick at our starters for a while and never felt pressured to move on.
I ordered a sirloin and my wife a filet. We both like them medium rare and that's how we got them. Juicy and soft in the middle with a lovely charcoal char on the outside. The steak was so good, in fact, I thought it best not to drown the flavour in the blue cheese sauce I ordered. Luckily, the chips were huge, so I mopped it up with those instead.
Even though the special offer menu is restricted to two things, I had a hard time choosing. Salted caramel ice cream or Guinness chocolate pots and cream. If you're planning on doing this, I advise you to gauge how hungry you are before ordering the Guinness chocolate. it's huge. Still, if that's all there is to complain about, i think they're doing pretty well.
It's nothing like fine dining (and that's a good thing in this case). The five stars are for the home-aged meat cooked to perfection, the value and the friendly and efficient service.
Making a single protein taste good with only seasoning and charcoal is like alchemy. The two Bulls got it right.

We found this lovely place on Tripadvisor and so glad we went. The steaks are just absolutely amazing, the best I have tasted in any restaurant ever! The portions are generous and the value is outstanding. The service is excellent, very attentive and the venue has a lovely, relaxed dining ambience and is smart yet informal. We will definitely be going again, what a great find thanks to Trip Advisor. By the way, if you are not in this part of town, it's worth getting the taxi or driving, you won't find another steakhouse like this in Eastbourne.

We visited The Two Bulls Steakhousde for the first time on Friday 13th June. The service and food were excellent. The young lady who served was knowledgeable and professional. When the food arrived it was well presented and the steak (Sirlion) was cooked to perfection. All other parts of the meal were equally as good. If you in the area and are a conissiour of steak there is only one place to go, the Two Bulls.
The next time we visited Eastbourne we will definatly return.

My fiancee and I visit this restaurant on a regular basis and it is by far the best restaurant in Eastbourne. I originally come from London and you would struggle to find a restaurant anywhere as near as good as this one. The food is 10/10 everytime and the service is excellent with really friendly and helpful staff. If ever I have friends or family visiting, I will always take them to Two Bulls Steak House because I know we'll all be guaranteed an excellent meal.
I recommend the fillet steak to anyone on their first visit. Its cooked to your liking and comes with a choice of sauce. From starters to puddings, you won't be disappointed!Thank you to all the staff at Two Bulls Steakhouse for always making our night enjoyable!

This is the best steak I have ever had. I had the 45 day aged steak and it was so tender, juicy and tasty. Good chips and a lovely green salad. Delicious peppercorn sauce. It's based in an old pub with welcoming and attentive staff. Will definitely be back. It's only a £6 cab fair from the pier but more than worth it. This meal was really value for money. Super!!!

Found this gem of a place when searching for some where to eat in Eastbourne (there is so much to choose from). This is an old building with lots of character. The staff are friendly but not intrusive. I ordered the rib eye steak with chips and salad - the salad was great it had a lovely dressing, then there was the steak - fantastic!
Mine was medium rare it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the point end steak which is very similar to fillet again he loved it.We were both full after such a great meal but couldn't resist the desserts! I had the Irish whiskey Tiramisu which was the best I have ever tasted, my husband had the Guinness Chocolate dessert and was in heaven!
I have to say this was a great meal one of the best steaks and desserts we have had.
