Enjoyed a tenner festival with 3 others, probably the tastiest 3 courses I have ever had, started with the excellent homemade bread, all 3 courses loaded with taste. Will be returning.

Absolutely Brilliant food, the Chicken liver to start !!!! Smashed it out of the park. Trio of Pork, oink oink oink with bells on. Service impeccable, as a couple of real foodies would highly recommend.

Thank You

Paul.

No atmosphere, no ambience, poor lighting - very bright and stark. Over priced, staff could of been friendlier, the waiter tried to present a £5.99 bottle of red from Tescos as if it was a Chateau Lafite !! . Starter portions were far to large, they came out the same size of a main that said the food was very good quality and the establishment was smart and clean.

On a trip to Gorey I checked this place out on TripAdvisor and thought we’d give it a try. Beautiful decor inside the restaurant and eye catching from the outside.
Perhaps a strange choice for us as we’re not great fish eaters but there was plenty of choice on the set and a la carte menus for us carnivores! Hubby had a great burger and I went for the beef cheek bourguingnon which was delicious. They do a selection of home made ice cream. I tried the caramel and hazelnut and all I will say is Wow! Good selection of wines, not too pricey. All in all a great place to dine!

Lovely restaurant in a lovely part of the island. Also good for families.
Service is polite but at times a little bit slow.
Would still recommend!

Lunched at B&L today to round off a fabulous foodie week in Jersey, in a way glad this was virtually our last meal on the island, as if it had been earlier in the week many of our other restaurants trips would have been cancelled to return to B&L!
The tennerfest looked amazing value at fifteen quid for three courses however we opted for the more expensive a la carte. I had the foie gras to start, a really good sized portion, very tasty and hugely satisfying. The "Lush" had chicken Caesar salad, generous portion, lots of delicious thigh meat and a real crowd pleaser.
For the mains I had the sea bass and lobster, crushed new potatoes. This was top notch cooking and was a joy to eat, proper food done well

I went to the Bass and Lobster for a girly lunch with the intention of getting the tennerfest.
The specials board looked so delicious we all ordered from the specials or al la Carter menu. I had the tuna to start and the bass and lobster for main, both of which were fabulous. Friends had the squid and scallops which looked lovely. There is a large range of home made ice cream including garlic or beetroot and horseradish which was fun to try.
The quality and portion sizes of the food was excellent and the service was just perfect. Cozy restaurant with well stocked bar.
Highly recommend this restaurant.

My daughter and I booked to have the Tennerfest menu for dinner. We chose the two course £12.50 menu and had the Trio of Pork for main and the vanilla panna cotta for dessert. the food was great and the sevive very good. We had a lovely evening.

Despite living close by, never been to bass and Lobster. Having heard good reports we decide to try their tennerfest menu (not a tenner anymore! ) and for £15 we had a quite excellent meal - menu items well conceived, well prepared and well presented. Would have been happy with meal at normal restaurant prices.

some residents at our hotel recommended this place and wow how fantastic it was, 5 star food and service agreed by all in our party. the "espatadas" meat on skewers arrived with a great selection of salads and vegetables to choose from, unfortunately we found this place a bit late in our holiday as would have definitely eaten there every night, highly recommended!! a little bit of class in

My husband and I, as real foodies, ate at the Bass and Lobster under the 'Tennerfest' menu and it was outstandingly good. The chicken liver parfait was to die for, the pork belly trio was lip smacking my good and as for the vanilla pannacotta well it was one of the best meals we have eaten in a long time anywhere. The service was excellent too and we left feeling spoilt and guiltily full. Thank you we had a lovely evening.
