We’d like to send our thanks to your guide Mark whom we met whilst we were at the Armed Forces Memorial on Monday 27th March 2023. He gave us an interesting insight to the memorial and spent some with us pointing out the subtleties of the memorial and other facts which we would have missed. Overall we found the Arboretum to be a peaceful and respectful place and enjoyed our visit, thank you.

One of the most impressive and unforgetfull venues I have ever visited. A trip to the NMA is a must for anyone who has stood for a minutes silence ever in their life. The experience is enhanced greatly by the staff and guides who will pass on their expert knowledge of the various memorials and the battles, stories connected to them. You will leave feeling grateful and thankful for the many heroes that helped keep Britain great. Thank you...

It's beautiful and thought provoking and a lovely walk on a nice day. It's definitely worth a visit. It's also very well looked after and although it's free it's worth a good contribution

A very moving and thought promoting experience. All staff were very helpful and informative. I would recommend a ride on the land train on a first visit to familiarise your self with the layout.

Amazing evocative experience. Beautiful and well maintained, staffed by knowledgeable and very friendly people. Our dogs were made very welcome and were allowed almost everywhere, some restrictions but nothing that would spoil a good walk around the grounds, well worth a visit.

Dog-friendliness: Dogs very welcome, with some sensible restrictions, but all listed on the website.

We enjoyed a very moving visit.
The site is vast- much bigger than I had imagined.
The volunteers are extremely helpful. We were advised to take the land train as we were first time visitors and it was the best way to see the various monuments.
It was excellent advice.
I would definitely recommend a visit

I visited just before the first lockdown back in February 2020 with a lady friend from Jersey and it poured down with torrential rain so we weren’t able to walk around outside and see much, managed to see the main memorial with all the names on the walls during a brief break in the weather and it was a truly humbling experience. It certainly puts what we’ve been through in sharp perspective, what sacrifices have we made? We’ve been told to stay at home, that’s not a sacrifice it’s a luxury! Those young brave souls with their names carved into those walls went to WAR and lived and died through a real nightmare. I will visit again because this place deserves repeated viewings, none of us here today can begin to imagine what it was like to live through a world at war the least we can do is learn and remember our history. The people working there were very helpful and friendly too. 👍
Do schools visit this place? They should, it should be on the curriculum. Never mind all that woke nonsense, teach them about this so it’s never forgotten.
