A wonderful view of the Seven Sister from the view point. Steps lead down to the stony beach so not suitable for wheelchair users. Its a pay and display car park and there is a café on site. A great day out for walking the tops of the cliffs. Dress warmly though as there is a biting wind at times.

When we were last at Birling Gap it was blowing 60mph. This made the sea quite rough, but difficult to stand up. Anyhow, you could still admire the view and have a nice cuppa at the cafe.

Fantastic views in all directions, irrespective of the weather. We went when it was windy, cloudy and a bit rainy as well but it was still worth it. The strong winds added to the fun and we made sure that we stayed well clear of the cliff edges while walking.

We had three children in our group and they just loved running around (obviously not near the cliff-side), watching the horses from close quarters etc

Not every place that can claim to have brilliant views wherever you look from the top of the hill and a beach to go with it.

It is free to visit and spend hours but there is a small parking charge as it is managed by the national trust (Free parking for NT members). We did see a few cars parked on the roadside about 50 meters outside the entrance to this attraction - another free parking option but limited space

Fabulous place to see nature at its rawest. The wind howls, the waves crash, and there are frequent cliff falls at which to marvel. The National Trust also have a cosy cafe and shop to enjoy.

Tea and chocolate cake ordered. But be prepared for the wait.
They could definitely benefit from another coffee machine.

Visited Birling Gap Visitors Centre on 30th August 2015. Beautiful site but sadly wasps plagued the cafe area inside and out. Also the toilets in the car park were in a shocking state and were filthy. We were there at 5pm and obviously they had not been cleaned all day. Same applies to loos in cafe area. No paper and just revolting. Not sure if it's NT or local council who maintains them, but definately needs sorting. Upside is that the scones in the cafe were fantastic!

We went inside to find out more about Birling Gap and cliff erosion. We were not disappointed. The centre guide was extremely helpful and told us all about the different displays and gave us a lot of historic information on the area.

Billing gap is a great place to visit in the summer as the beach has sand at low tide and the water always seems very clear.A nice visitor centre and tea room with great walks both ways along the coast. In the winter the winds can feel almost hurricane force while standing on the steps, certainly blows the cobwebs away.
