Came here after buying some chips for a place to chill out for a bit. Great views along the beach from one of the many picnic benches. The pier has arcades and a few eating/drinking establishments. A good place to watch the world go by..

The pier is nice and well looked after. It's such a shame it had the fire, as it has certainly lost something. But, it is what it is and it is still nice to walk out over the sea and look back to land. Especially for those that don't like boats :-)

The jazz bar at the end of the pier is absolutely fabulous. Great choice of drinks and brilliant memorabilia. Pictures of many famous people.

Birthday party at the Lido Hotel. Very welcoming staff but tardy at table service. Starters and deserts were very good but main meal was disappointing ( plate hot, food lukewarm. Skimpy vegs and were cold. Lukewarm potatoes and gravy a bit glutinous.)
The staff were really helpful in making us welcome.

Was a lovely pier with a nice little bar at the end of it. Would recommend a walk along the pier if you were in Eastbourne.

I really like Eastbourne Pier. We went there last month to meet up with our friends. We enjoyed watching the sea and the surroundings. We took some pictures too! The views were really nice. There were shops where you can buy some foods and souvenirs too. We had a wonderful time.

It's great that the pier is still standing after the fire a few years ago but those arcades are a joke, they are sooooo tiny and cramped, at one point, we couldn't get on a single machine.

Beautiful pier that is well maintained. It would be good to see more life in the evening at the jazz bar and club however.

Jazz bar was definitely worth a visit. Full of memorabilia and music was fab. Wished we had found this earlier in our stay.

My partner and myself went to the Imperial Hotel Eastbourne on 19th Sep.for a week. A few minutes from beach. Close to shops. Our hotel was spotless and cleaners deserve a medal.Room was a fair size but looked into the back of hotel and bins etc.and a bit noisy so had to keep window shut at bed time. Food was pretty poor.and people we spoke to thought the same. I told them i was on a low/no fat diet.no oils.fats.creams etc.Made meals for me dreadful! They were told 3 times about it and i was told it would not be a problem! I had to tell waiter just not to give me roast potatoes.gravys.and other things.so what i haf was dry with no sauces. I got fresh fruit salad once. A chopped apple and half a grape!!! Never had starters ir puddings. The folk at table thought food was dreadful too. The pot mash with cream looked awful.just a wet mess!!! No one ate it. Main meals were really awful! Apart from that.and you could only get wi.fi in reception after a great lot of fuss.i gave up using my phone. Otherwise hotel was good. Oh yes.the pillows were spotless.but should have been binned long ago!! They were soooo thin and just collapsed when held in your hand!. Very dull lighting in room.Need one between beds and one on dressing table. I had to buy a torch so i could read in bed and yes....y eyes are perfectly ok. If not too fussy about food then i would say go for it!!

Eastbourne pier is absolutely lovely and perfect to stroll along whilst enjoying the sea air and the views along the shore. There are one or two shops and an arcade and the pier is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

There is a lovely glass art shop on the pier I would recommend popping in to have a look. You might even see the glass being twisted!

What a great place for holiday makers. The pier is on a clean, pebble beach and gives beautiful views of the shoreline. There are shops, arcades, restaurants and pubs. Plenty of people to give that holiday feel.

Everywhere we visit that has a pier we ensure we go to the end and have a Pier kiss! Enjoyed Eastbourne's Pier. It is well looked after. Had a go on Zoltars fortune telling machine.

This is the new pier built by an Indian magnate. Main and fun to watch activity here is (successful) fishing. A large, reasonable looking cafe with glass walls is at the end, it has publicly accessible loos.

Eastbourne pier has now been restored and looks good with no fee to stroll along and rest on many seats if needed.

Great for the views but nothing else. Very dated, not many people around. Good for a quick stroll only.

Nice pier and glad they rebuilt it after the fire.
Not a lot going on though.A chippy at the front,a tea room in the middle and a bar towards the end, a few tacky scattered shops and miniature arcades in between.
Nice to stroll around for 10 minutes but that's about all.
