Fresh ingredients beautifully prepared, fabulous service and an authentic atmosphere make Meze one of my favorite restaurants.
The food is prepared and cooked over charcoal in the restaurant and open to view, and the bread is made fresh to order (Be careful when breaking into the pitas, they are full of steam).Quality is consistent.

Me and my husband had a beautiful meal here on valentines day, we didn't book and just turned up they fitted us in, which was really. Ice of them, you get a free starter which is beautiful and the food is so filling, not sure if I like bulgur wheat though it come with the mains, bith overall all the other food made up for it.

In fact I have been back many times. If you like the idea of watching your authentic food being cooked in front of you whilst you sit on random cushions and on listen to Bedouin style music you cant go wrong here. The starters of little pizza style kebaby things are always a welcome addition and although I was sceptical about the Turkish wine wasn't as bad a some of the expensive French plonk Ive consumed over the years. Have tried most of the menu now and have think liked every dish.

Went here last night because we couldn't resist the smell as we were walking past (we were actually heading elsewhere). Wasn't disappointed. Starters were especially good, decent size and easy to share. Bread, olives and feta provided free before the meal was delicious and the lamb amuse-bouche was a nice (also free) addition. One of our dinners was veggie and they were swiftly given a tasty alternative too. Mains were a very good size and well cooked. The food isn't cheap, but it seems reasonable for what you get. Wine is well priced (although the house red is pointless as it is barely 50p cheaper than the more interesting alternatives). Service was swift, polite and professional, but it wasn't very chatty. Overall, I'd recommend and I'll no doubt be going back.

Been here several times to eat and never disappointed. The food and service are great and the prices reasonable. The only let down is the gents toilet in the cellar.

I have been here a number of times and it is amazing! That is all I can say, the service is brilliant, The food is immense, you get some bread, herb butter, feta and olives and a small canape for free. The portions are so big we never have a starter. I love the kebabs which come with bulgar wheat, salad and pide bread, the puddings are also lovely.
I will definitely keep coming back

I went to Meze tonight with my parents and brother. We had a lovely relaxed meal - a random selection of starters to share between us and lamb in every possible way - kebab / cutlets / spiced / casserole for mains. It was great sitting near the grill and watching the food being cooked. Nice glass or Merlo, good company, relaxed environment and good food and friendly service... what more can you ask for?

Tried this little gem after reading several good reports on TA. It was a cold wet and windy night but the welcome was friendly and warm. The menu is very traditional (Turkish), more authentic then l expected having eaten in a few London Turkish restaurants recently. Was not disappointed! We had a few starters to share, all excellent. The main courses were equally superb. So, no complaints and would highly recommend. However..... part of a really great dinning experience is the combination of great food and friendly (go that extra mile) customer service. Tonight hit the 'WOW l'll remember this one for a long, long time'. Just a couple of things, so natural, simple, genuine and generous. Like l said, WOW. We had a great night. I hope you do too.

Went here for an office Christmas party. Atmosphere brilliant. Staff, polite and friendly. You can watch the bbq'd food being cooked. Food full of flavour and well presented. Would recommend this restaurant and would happily return.

I was sceptical as to whether I was going to enjoy this restaurant as I've never heard reviews from it, however I was happily surprised. The service was fantastic, the staff were not pushy and let you relax into meal. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, the furnishings fit perfectly with the theme of the restaurant. The food was flavoursome and exciting! I really recommend this restaurant!
