A good family Italian restaurant with good atmosphere. Very helpful, and friendly staff. Busy, which adds to atmosphere, but service is quick and well organised. A must when in Eastbourne.
We visit often, especially for family celebrations. They also have a special event room downstairs for partys. Best to book at week ends

The friendliness of the staff was great but some of the courses were bland and tasteless but some (especially the tirimisu) were a delight.

We had the 2 courses for £10.20 special menu (not available every evening). There were 3 of us .Delicious mushrooms - just great, the boys had Bruschetta - loved it. To follow Pollo Milanaise excellent, the Pizza lovely too. The bill was just over £40 to include beers and wine.

I had the mussels in a rich garlic and tomato sauce, my partner had calamari, and both were excellent. Then we had two pizzas, large and very good quality. Good service, pleasant trattoria setting. Good value.

Because we knew we would be arriving in Eastbourne late, we had already shortlisted several restaurants using Tripadvisor. We hadn't booked, (there were 4 of us) but were welcomed and seated immediately even though they were obviously busy. The staff were all polite, friendly and efficient, food was lovely and arrived quite quickly. Atmosphere was great and felt very authentic. It certainly got our short break off to a good start.

We decided to visit here instead of ZiZia's in bolton Road a mistake Saturday night not too busy we arrived at 7.30 just the 4 of us ordered the drinks they forgot the sparkling water we ordered our starters soup was fine sardines very good service with a smile not on our table maines arrived again no smile and no offer of pepper on our food' regulars were obviously being greeted warmly.Food was ok Service was deffinatly lacking unless you were a regular and there maths was not very good as they charged us for the sparkly water that they forgot to deliver.So stick to ZiZia's in future

Everyone in Eastbourne bangs on about the other restaurants in the "E", but this one has to be tried. Good value, the food is very good and also my seafood pasta dish was nicely decorated!

We popped in here at the last minute to have a quick meal with the children before we went to the Congress Theatre. We were not disappointed. The service was great, the food was excellent and we would definitely eat here again. It was reasonably priced for a restaurant as well. Lovely. Well done!

Once again we were not disappointed when we had lunch here on Easter Sunday. Impeccable service and food on the fixed price menu. Three courses for under £12 how do they do that? A couple of small problems were sorted out without fuss or argument. We will be back again soon.

We took my 83year old Aunt whom we were visiting in Eastbourne out for a meal. Our first visit to this restaurant and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Brilliant atmosphere and staff extremely helpful--- especially when they brought my bolshy 13year old daughter chocolate cake with berries!! She doesnt 'do' berries and they immediately offered to change it. We didnt even ask but they noticed her expression and said they wanted to make her happy---no mean feat but they succeeded!! I had tortelloni with asparagus and cream and it was delicious. My Aunt says she is having that the next time she goes there! Lovely homemade ice-cream too and BIG portions.

If you want an authentic Italian experience with good food, nice friendly service in a busy, bright family friendly environment, then look no further. Having visited on Good Friday for probably our 5th/6th time now, we were treated like old friends by the owner. Only ever seem to have pizza and calamari on our visits, but Pizzas are good, deserts are very nice and overall seems to represent good value for a family of four with some drinks (expect about £50-£60 for calamari, pizzas, salad, desserts and a couple of glasses of wine). Place is always very busy, which must surely tell most people something.
Overall, we enjoy our visits, and despite occasional efforts to try somewhere else, we always come back!

My husband and I had dinner on Good Friday and we were very pleasantly surprised by just how good this place was. We had been recommended by our hotel, and we got a 10% discount with a voucher they provided, and we were therefore assuming it would be lacking somehow (I know, too cynical of us...). However, after wandering round and not being inspired by anywhere else we thought "we might as well give it a go....". I'm so glad we did - the atmosphere was buzzing, the staff were great fun, attentive but not intrusive, and the food was absolutely fabulous. We asked to share the asparagus and Parmesan starter and they spontaneously offered to serve two half portions so we didn't have the rigmarole of dividing up the spoils ourselves. For mains we each had pasta and shared a salad and really enjoyed it, washed down with a bottle of red wine, and a big jug of tap water. Highly recommended!

Went at lunchtime , enjoyed the set menu, food nice & hot, attentive staff without being rushed, they even made a slight menu change for my friend who wanted olives on her pizza.
Only downside I could see was they do have a disabled loo, but if the person is in a wheelchair they would not be able to access this on their own as you cant get back into the restaurant as the door handle is too high, other than that cold not fault it.

Absolutely fabulous trattoria, reasonably priced, fantastic range of very well cooked food. Generous portions, good service and very nice staff.. Fixed price menus available. Had lunch there the first day of our stay in Eastbourne and we were so impressed we returned the second night for dinner. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was busy for both lunch and dinner, a reflection of it's quality.

We have visited this restaurant many times and have always had good food each time. The service is really good, and you can linger, or just have a quick meal.
The only slight downside is the noise, as the restaurant is always full, so talking can be an issue
