Authentic Thai meal, very affordable, exactly what you want from a proper Thai restaurant, the starter platter/prawn crackers were very tasty with the Green Thai Curry hot but very delicious. Perfect for those looking for a quiet and tasty meal

We went to this restaurant prior to seeing Tommy Steele at the theatre. A really nice meal including a bottle of Singha Beer for a very reasonable price. Service was quick and polite. If we ever go to the theatre in Eastbourne again Sabaidee Thai Restaurant will be our choice of restaurant.

Visited for the first time and will definitely be going back. The food was lovely and the staff were very attentive. Lovely relaxed atmosphere in this little gem of a restaurant. Loved this place.

Had a great meal here on a Friday evening. I love the bags of gold, minced meat in dumpling bags. A good bottle of wine and great beers. For such exceptionally high standard of food the bill is very very reasonable. We just keep returning.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal here on Valentine's Day with my partner, we both could not fault any of the food! Very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was so comfortable. Staff were all lovely, couldn't have been more accommodating. We will definitely be back, thank you!

We visited the restaurant on a Friday evening and the staff found us a space after consulting their bookings for the evening. We drank a glass of cider which was lovely and ordered 3 dishes between the 2 of us. One beef, one a vegetable noodle dish and the other was the unsurpassable Chicken Naeng Curry (I think that is the spelling, close enough anyway). It was great and if we had stayed in Eastbourne longer I we would have returned. Would definitely recommend.

I ate here with my boyfriend and two of our friends on a Friday night. The place wasn't busy so it was nice and relaxed. We ordered starter, mains and dessert. The starters and the mains were tasty. I did ask for less chilli in my mail meal as i'm not keen on spicy food however it was really spicy which ruined it slightly for me.
I wouldn't reccomend having dessert as it didn't taste great and when we tried to ask a member of staff what a custard cake was she struggled to explain it and also how it was cooked.It was an expensive meal however the food (apart from the dessert) and service was good so i would visit again.

My friend and I ate here before we went to the Congress Theatre. The location is perfect, the staff are friendly and the food is great. I would recommend this Thai restaurant and will definitely be going back.

Off to watch a play at the Congress Theatre we needed a convenient place to eat before the show. Sabaidee Thai couldn't be better situated as it is only 2 minutes walk away. It also about the same from the sea front.
The decor has Thai artefacts and is not overpowering. The menu is excellent with a large selection of fish and meat dishes to cater for anyones taste.The service was very good, especially considering that the restaurant was probably 80% full. Clearly being near to the theatre is good business for the restaurant so it is probably a good idea to book in advance as we did.

Just been here, got to hotel 5 minutes ago, and have to write review.Had the set menu B x 2.Was lovely, been to a few thai restaurants on south coast, this the best so far.Well worth a visit. Came to Eastbourne just to eat here. Will do it again

We have been here twice in few weeks the food is so delicious and the staff are very attentive water and ice filled without asking really worth a visit for a good tasty Thai meal .. Reasonable prices to other places I have been in Eastbourne

We chose to come here on New Years Eve for a meal. It's a cozy restaurant and we were pleased to see it was full when we arrived with just our table waiting for us by the window. Even though the restaurant was full the service was fantastic. The food was served quickly and was absolutely lovely. We would not hesitate to return or recommend

Great meal. Delicious food.....good service and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend it.....(and we are quite fussy with our Thai food as we cook it a fair amount and have holidayed in Thailand)

although I say it is not the best meal ever had in a restaurant it is the best Thai by far. We needed to eat before the show at lunchtime and the restaurant appeared empty - don't know why- we were greeted by lovely courteous staff and served with hot well portioned dishes well presented at a reasonable price.. we felt relaxed and not over stuffed at the end. Well done - we shall go again

Been to this restaurant on several occasions over the years when it was Siam Orchid. The food has always been excellent and a service to match.
My wife and I visited the restaurant on the 14th October. The waitress wasnt bothered or seemed interested in being there let alone serve . Felt like she was doing us a favour. Food was served which was delicious and hot however the fish cakes were way too small than what it used to be. Tom yum koong was awesome as usual.

Above average. The massaman was fabulous. And they had a highchair for the baby and were very welcoming even though it was early evening. Great service - I'd definitely go again

We kept to some old favourites, Pad Thai, Tom Sum Salad, Chicken Penang and deep fried prawns with tamarind sauce and nuts. Food was pleasantly spiced, and tasted similar to dishes I've eaten over there, but not quite as hot. We both agreed the standards were good and will definitely be going back.

Very quiet when we went in, however that didn't bother us.
The food was delicious - good choice at reasonable prices. (We had 10% off when using a visitors passport that we had been given from the B & B we stayed at).The restaurant was very clean and the hostess was discreet yet attentive.
