The restaurant was quiet the night we were in and we got excellent service. Usual Thai food but well presented and delicious. It is in a quiet side road off the sea front. We went out of season but I am sure it is busy during the summer

Been here twice this Autumn, both times excellent food and service, convenient location for the theatre. Parking is difficult on a Friday or Saturday night. Try the Weeping Tiger and the Gaeng Daeng Ped. Yum.

Our first time to this restaurant and what an what a excellent experience. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. The food was very very tasty and well presented. A good selection of wine at extremely good prices.
The restaurant is not very large but cosy, I would recommended that you should book on the normal busy nights. We arrived for a pre-theatre dinner on Friday night and was lucky to find a table, but noticed that there were many reserved tables. We will definitely visit again.

Visited here with our friend who lives locally and recommended we visit.
We thought the restaurant was very cosy and had a nice atmosphere. Even though it was a Monday evening it was very busy but this did not detract from the level of service we received. The staff were delightful and very efficient.
Great number of choices on the menu and they were very accommodating when we asked if we could have a shared starter for three people.
The food was delicious and nicely presented. Altogether a very nice dining experience - would happily revisit on a future trip to Eastbourne.

Stumbled upon this place near our hotel, on a Friday evening. It was quite busy and we had no reservations. They were able to seat us without a reservation. The service was slow, but there appeared to be only two waitresses. We had no problems with the service and they were very patient with us. The food was very well presented and tasty. We did not realize that rice did not come with our dishes and had to be ordered seperately but they quickly brought us rice upon request. Overall a very good and tasty experience.

A fairly small pleasant Thai restaurant serving good food at a reasonable cost. The service was friendly and efficient and whilst lacking the wow factor a reasonably broad menu provides a range of good food. Would be happy to eat there again if in the area.

We went with a couple of friends who love this restaurant and wow!
The restaurant itself is quite small so it's advisable to book, particularly on a Saturday evening. The staff are very welcoming, warm and friendly, and there's a great choice on the menu.We took the easy way out and let our friends choose our dishes and everything was delicious, freshly cooked, and beautifully presented.
The house wine (both white and red) was also very nice.We will definitely come back again.

We have been to a lot of Thai restaurants in the past 3 months but I have to say this one was fantastic. We both shares no16 as starter and it was amazing!!! The flavours were delicious and we just ate in silence. For main I had steamed king prawns which were gorgeous, I think no 50 on menu. My partner had a cocktail and said was brill. The cost was really good value and I would recommend.

Good food at reasonable prices. Freshly made and pleasant all round. Small and not the sort of place you should go to if you want to be impressed by carpets and chandeliers. However the menu was wide enough with proper Thai ingredients. Very polite staff.

12 of us came here for a birthday meal Thursday evening , the service was pretty good as the restaurant was empty , the food was very good . We had our drinks bill separately to the food bill and there were service charges on both amounting to £30 !! Crazy really when you consider we had given them over £300 worth of business on a quite midweek evening !

The Sabaidee is located across the road from the Devonshire Park where we were staying. The fact that most tables were reserved and there were several Thai diners present reassured us we had made a good choice. Not surprisingly the staff were exceptional. The food was different class and the setting typically Thai. I had a Thai Green curry with special rice. It was exceptional. Thank goodness we did not opt for a starter. I love Indian food but normally pay less attention to Thai options. The Sabaidee may have changed my future Asian food eating habits.

I have eaten at every Thai in Eastbourne and must admit Eastbourne is spoilt for choice with Thai food as they are all great however this was the best

Very good Thai restaurant. A varied menu and the food is not stupidly over spiced like some Thais. Service is excellent and if you want a treat, discard the menu and ask them to choose for you. All they will ask is for a budget per person and then the food flows. This is the best way to eat in most Thai restaurants.

A good start - a warm friendly greeting by staff. But not such a good starter - classic chicken satay. The chicken was dry - and arrived extremely quickly which raises a suspicion that it was pre-cooked. But the peanut sauce was thick and chunky - however, please, why the garnish of fancy cut raw vegetables?!?!? And similar veg turned up with the main course. “Decorations” of this sort don’t enhance a plate of food – instead they detract from it. But it was a good enough main course - and no suspicion of pre-cooking this time because the vegetables accompanying the marinated beef were fresh, crisp and briefly cooked in true Thai style. And lots of sliced, barely cooked garlic - welcome by me but not perhaps by everyone. But then something else odd: "crinkle cut" carrots. Again: why??? And does coconut rice really need a topping of coconut cream??? So ... some nice touches of friendly service, fresh flowers on the table ... food which was tasty enough and reasonably priced ... but then, some questions ...

Stopped here this evening without a booking, lucky to get a table as absolutely packed. Menu was wonderful, so difficult to choose but both our meals were exquisite. Delicious flavours, not too spicy. Reasonably priced. Came from London and would drive down here again just for this restaurant.

Stopped by at Sabaidee, without a booking, early on a busy Saturday evening when Eastbourne was heaving with air show spectators. Restaurant staff were very welcoming and attentive. Food was spicy without being overpowering, beef massaman and pilau rice was an excellent main course choice and the cost was about average for a delicious Thai meal. Would definitely return when next in Eastbourne and recommend Sabaidee very highly. Eastbourne is blessed with several excellent restaurant but this has to be one of the best.

Three of us went for a meal last night to this`Gem`of a restaurant.I must admit that I am not a great lover of Thai food. HOWEVER. The place was very well laid out, and the staff very welcoming.
We were not rushed into ordering, and the waitress answered a few questions we wanted to know about the menu.We all order something different, and was more than satisfied with the quantity and quality of each dish. The flavours were superb. Service was extremely pleasant
The cost was very reasonable to.The toilets and surrounding areas were kept very clean.
All in all, we had a very enjoyable evening. Will most certainly go again.Thank you Sabaidee Thai Restaurant. I have most certainly changed my feeling about Thai food.

We limited ourselves to fewer dishes this time, as traditionally our eyes are larger than our stomachs. Proved a good move as we still couldn't eat all of the five ordered. Suffice to day they were delicious and the only mild criticism we had was the limited wine choice; however this may have proved a blessing as what we had was a very nice white. Service attentive without being pushy. Would go here again.

We were out over Eastbourne Airbourne looking for an Italian but wasn't taken by it and walked past. Then we came across SaBaidee. . It was early morning so we left a voicemail. Later on in the morning they returned my call. And we booked a table and are glad we did. Lovely little restaurant. Very popular and packed out, didn't wait more than a few minutes for our booked table. Great service, lovely menu well presented. Recommend and we we will return.

Lovely Thai restaurant in centre of Eastbourne. Had some great prawns in crisp breadcrumbs and Thai chicken curry - beautifully cooked, lots of subtlety. Sweet staff. (A visit a year ago was a bit haphazard but only, it's now clear, because on that occasion they were rammed to the rafters with a couple of very large birthday parties.) Definitely worth a visit.
