My family decided to visit two bulls after we heard great reviews from our friends. Are we glad we decided to go! The food was so delicious and all the steaks were cooked to perfection. They even had some great deals that allowed you to dine with some great apps and mains and not even break the bank. The service was top notch. Especially the manager Annie made it a great night! She was always checking in with our table and was super prompt if we needed everything! What great staff you have there! Overall it was a great night with amazing food and we will surely visit again!!

Everything with this restaurant was amazing! From the moment we arrived to the steakhouse, we were sat in an amazing booth. The restaurant had so much culture, since it was located in an old pub house. The starters were amazing and left me wanting to buy more sourdough from their bakery. Our family of 4 all ordered steaks and they came out extremely quick and were all cooked to perfection! I visit loads of steakhouses and this one was one of the best. The desserts were amazing as well. Everything we got here was top notch and wasn't too expensive that it would break the wallet. Even the service was great. Manager Annie made the night very pleasant. She made the night with her smile we were greeted and her personal goodbye when we left! Great job on the staff and the food! Will visit again and recommend to others!

I have been to this restaurant a few times as i haven't yet found anywhere else in Eastbourne that does a reasonable steak.
The steaks are average as they have no seasoning and can be a bit chewy. Accompanying salad very disappointing, ask for the roasted vegetables instead.Love the creamed spinach.

If you like a good steak - two bills is your place to go! The chips are really good as well! If you don't fancy steak they have chicken skewers or halloumi or fish and other options ! They do a special menu on Thursday where you spend £50 for 2 for 2 courses and a bottle of wine I think ! Or maybe even 3 courses - we love it there - really good and fast service ! Lovely decor ! Cosy homely feeling! Good food ! Worth a visit !

We visited the two bulls to celebrate a birthday today. The meal was delicious but what made our visit was young Kay who served us with such friendly charm. Will definitely be going again.

We visited on Friday Evening 3 courses with a bottle of good wine £60 what a bargain. Great steaks, startes and deserts to choose from. Staff were exellent 10 out of 10 a must try ....Would highly recommend..

In the area for a week,we made two visits and were delighted with the food and service each time.Staff were especially helpful and knowledgeable and it was good to see a mix of ages amongst the punters.
Fillet steak and Cajun chicken both delicious;so is the Banoffee pie,though perhaps best shared!!!Good well priced wine too.

Been once before and visited last Thursday 8th May.
Obviously we both had steaks.We ordered rare sirloin steak and when they turned up we discovered that my wife's steak wasn't rare but medium. Mine was perfect.
My wife's steak was immediately replaced, and they even offered to replace mine despite being very good and half eaten.The manager and staff were excellent and couldn't apologise enough.
When it came to paying the bill we were not charged for our steaks surprisingly, so we left a big tip.The meal was excellent, the service excellent and I would definitely recommend to visit.
The Two Bulls is very popular so book early.We will definitely visit again

I took my family for dinner at the Tally-Ho as my daughter loves steak and thought how appropriate for her birthday meal. What a great choice!! We had 11oz,18oz T-Bones all cooked varying from Blau,Rare to medium, could not fault any of them!
The ambience is great and the staff are very polite and professional. Had an excellent evening and very competitively priced.

We reserved a table for seven to celebrate two birthdays here in April. We left with mixed feelings.The staff is really friendly and the place has a lovely atmosphere. However we had to ask for tapwater 3 times as after the first two times we still didn't get anything. When we finally received it, it was a smallish bottle. Clearly it wasn't enough for seven of us, it wasn't even a full small glass for everyone. Don't misunderstand, we ordered other drinks, not just water (2 bottles of wine for the ladies and beers for the gents). Anyway. The steaks are tender but the taste wasn't for me (21 days mature sirloin). One of the steaks was ordered to be rare but it was medium which wasn't sent back as didn't want to wait. The others liked their steaks and the chiken too. I didn't like my starter (bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar) but again the others liked theirs (olives and ham & cheese). Despite all of the above, it was a nice night out but I don't think we'll visit again. To be fair, we didn't mention anything at the time as we all work in hospitality (so we can be critical at times) and didn't want to be trouble because they were really busy.

Came here for lunch on a Thursday. Waitress was so lovely and attentive ! I had steak with peppercorn sauce. Wow. It was amazing. I also had the famous banoffee pie ! So good!! Will return.

I've had some great meals in the Two Bulls but didn't enjoy my last meal at all. I ordered a steak med/rare and came well done and pretty much inedible. I always order creamed spinach and that tasted of nothing..normally delicious.
The waitress gave me my meal for free but that's not the reason I complained. Sad as I really like it usually, everyone else's meals were nice.

Visited as a family of four and ordered two garlic breads to start and then 3 pizzas to share. All perfectly cooked and the pulled pork definitely the favourite. Deserts were very generous and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient but total bill could have got us a meal upstairs so next time we visit not sure whether it will be pizza or steak!

My wife and I decided to go out for a steak, and having passed this venue several times, decided it was time to drop in and sample the food. We weren't disappointed !
It was a Saturday evening and fortunately they were able to accommodate us, though only just ! Within about twenty minutes of sitting down, those that had booked tables flooded the place. So I'd really recommend advance booking rather than dropping in on the off chance, particularly at the usual busy times. But a full restaurant is always a good review in itself.
I went for a large fillet steak and my wife had the Thai skewers. There is a choice of steak ages. My fillet steak was actually two steaks and my wife got two large skewers packed with chunks of excellent quality meat. As one would expect from a steak restaurant, the meat was cooked to perfection (we both enjoy ours medium rare).
I would definitely recommend this as an excellent venue for great steaks, with very attentive service and a pleasing ambience.

We checked out Two Bulls/ Tally ho (dual name thing rather confusing) on the back of receiving a flyer through our door; the photos of mature ribs of beef in their chiller being too much to resist.
My concern was whether we could get a decent meal without going for the top end steak (not in our lunchtime budget)! The answer was a resounding "yes". We had the 9 oz Rib eye £12 and the Steak satay skewer with Thai peanut sauce £8. The latter I was advised by the incredibly helpful and charming new manager was made with 28 day sirloin... It was exquisite!
Based on other reviews and the healthy portions of our main courses we setlled on a bannoffee to share. This turned out to be a good call as it was massive and ideal for the two of us.
With such a good experience it was just a little disappointing to have an error on the Bill (charged for a bottle not a glass of red). There was no reason to assume this was anything other than a genuine mistake and we look forward to returning to check out the big boy steaks in the very near future.
