Hubby and I won a competition for dinner and wine and went last night (sunday pm).We arrived early and were taken through seated and waited on hand foot and finger!!we have starter main and pudding. the starter was lovely ( and I am fussy!!) For the pizza I wanted the pulled pork, but they had run out, I was disappointed but I was offered the ham and chorizzo instead. I went for this as I liked the sound of the rest of the pizza. Cooked to perfection. Hubby is a chef and cooks to a very high standard, and not often that we are both satisfied and stuffed after a meal, but this place is well worth a visit!! I had 2 slices of my pizza left before I realized I hadn't added any salt or pepper.. well done chef :) Pudding was lovely too. I had the Pannacotta and it wasn't quite set, but it was so yummy, I ate it all in no time. We paid the bill at the end and gave a tip, however after paying, hubby realised that they had tip an extra £4.50 rather than £1.50. We didn't say anything and it was probably just a slip of the finger. It wasn't an issue as they definitely deserved it. would happily go again

Finally! At last we have a real wood fired oven making sublime pizzas with lovely fresh ingredients. We tried a take away and had a Gamberi and a porchetta -superb flavours. If you put some Sussex Gold chilli oil on top it really perks it up!
Great stuff- we will be back to try the others.

During our Easter break to Eastbourne we visited the Two Bulls Steakhouse and were not disappointed. The food was lovely and so were the staff. If you are visiting Eastbourne then I would definately recommend it. :)

We visited for a birthday meal recently. This was the first time we have visited since it was Sheila's steakhouse some years ago, and we were very impressed with the updating and new layout. The service was good, with friendly, but not overbearing staff and we received our food within a good time. On the down side I thought the menu was limited particularly for the starters. There was really only option of bread that I would consider, 2 fish based starters out of a choice of 5 options limited the choice for me. We choose the cheese burgers for our main course. The chips, salads and dressings were lovely, however the burger was extremely tough and chewy, burnt on the underside. In hindsight we should have both sent them back. We were not asked how we would like them cooked and they were certainly overdone. This was a real shame as it spoilt what would otherwise have been a very nice meal. Unfortunately as this was the main feature of the meal I will think twice before returning.

My girlfriend and I visited the restaurant for an anniversary dinner. On arrival we were greeted by very welcoming staff and sat down in a very inviting dining area. The selection on the menu was varied and interesting. We both opted for the 21 day hung fillet steak. My girlfriend normally would have her steak well done but was advised due to the quality of the steak it would be more beneficial to have it cooked slightly less well done. We found this level of customer care very proffessional and hasten to add that both our steaks were cooked to utter perfection.
An overall very enjoyable experience which will undoubtably be the start of many more visits to this superb restaurant!!! P.S The Banoffi pie is huge!!!

We visited the Two Bulls recently for a joint birthday meal. This was,in fact, our third visit, but I have been very remiss and not written a review before. Pre dinner drink in the bar were very pleasant. Sitting by an open fire with a glass of wine was agood way to start the evening. The food, as on previous visits, was very good. Lovely steak, beautifully cooked, followed by extremely yummy pud. The problem here was too many good things to choose from. In terms of quality, service and value for money, an all round excellent place!

It was a Sunday evening & not rammed so they put the people who were there on adjoining tables. Is this to create an atmosphere or for the convenience of the waiting staff? I think the couple next to us were on a first date & I was more intrigued by the nonsense being spouted by the male than anything my partner had to say.
We had the £50 steak'n'wine-for-two deal & it was excellent. I am lookig for a suitable excuse to go again in the not-too-distant future.

A regular here at the Two Bulls I felt it was important to update my review. Service is always great and with a smile. Food is always consistent and now that the bar is open its lovely to make a complete evening with pre or post dinner drinks. The lunch specials are fantastic value as are the sunday and thursday meal deals. Fantastic choice of steaks and must say the stilton cream sauce is to die for, as is the banoffi pie. We have had many family meals here and will have many more.

As a regular diner at the Steak house I was keen to try the pizzeria. Decor is nice, although not sure about the second seating area with no windows. The staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered the Picante and Pulled pork pizza, Both were very tasty but would have preferred no crackling on my pizza. The wine list was limited but we had the montepulciano which was nice. Although I do prefer the tempranillo upstairs which is £3 cheaper, (although I know not italian). We enjoyed our pizzas and the service but would suggest offering a meal deal or special offer. As the pizzas can seem a little expensive. Two pizzas and a bottle of wine £30? The meal deals at the steakhouse are great and I did feel a little shortchanged that I could have had that for almost the same price as our pizza meal. Could I also suggest another shelf for the oven? ,a friend of mine came as a party of 6 and only 4 pizzas can be cooked at one time. Im sure with a few tweaks this will do as well as the steakhouse.

After hearing great reviews from friends and family I couldn't wait to go myself, boy it didn't disappoint. I ordered a sirloin steak with Stilton sauce and a skewer of king prawns. The steak was perfect as were the prawns. Dessert was the vanilla cheesecake with raspberry compote, again it was delicious and the raspberries were tort (just the way I like it), however still had an edge of sweetness.
Very attentive service from the staff with a free night cap!!Certainly my first visit, however will not be my last!

Went to the new Green Street Pizzeria at the Two Bulls Tally Ho yesterday evening after hearing great things from some of the Eastbourne locals. The pizzas were totally delicious. Our friends are great pizza lovers and said they would definitely rank the pizzas in the top 5 they have ever had. The garlic prawn pizza was highly unusual and absolutely mouthwatering - a very large king prawn on each slice, with plenty of garlic and seasoning. It was quite simply scrumptious, and I will definitely be going back for it again. I will be ordering a takeaway too in the near future. Ollie and Delphine were absolutely charming as always, and we had a pre-dinner drink sitting by the open fire in the adjacent bar. A wonderful evening and I can't wait to go back! Highly recommended.

We booked for Mother's Day and chose one of the meal deal type offers - amazing value for money!!
The steak was absolutely fantastic!!! I had the chateaubriand medium rare and it was cooked perfectly! Everyone else around the table also agreed that their steaks had been cooked exactly as they like them.Kay, our waiter, was a joy and was very attentive, fun and a pleasure to have as part of our Mother's Day treat!
Really enjoyed our visit and looking forward to coming back soon!

a great evening out !
The Two Bulls has a simple formula, an uncomplicated menu prepared with quality ingredients presented by a friendly team. This was our second visit after good recommendations from friends. The Two Bulls is not the cheapest place to get a steak, but it is certainly the best. For those seeking a deal they also offer fixed priced set menus & great choice of deserts.

I was treated to a Mother's Day lunch here yesterday and it was wonderful. I had heard great things about this place and was not disappointed. It was busy so we were shown into the bar to wait (only a few minutes) for our table. We chose from the 3 courses for £50 menu (adding a couple of extra sides). This included a bottle of wine so fantastic value. Each course was beautifully presented and served by a lovely lad called Kay (who should be a model) who made us laugh so much. My steak was perfectly cooked and I am a bit fussy if I say so myself. I will definitely return soon!

I'd been told by a work colleague this place was good and a question to my cousin over lunch confirmed it was worth a try. So glad we did fantastic steak, well cooked chips and solid wine selection made This a great impromptu visit. The return will be planned with starter and pud included the Jamon and manchenga platter plus a glass of chilled sherry conjures up memories of Spain. Can't wait to return.

This is the only place to go if you want steak done properly. I've pretty much had all the steak on the menu now and all I can say is I have never had a bad experience . The moment you walk in you are met with a genuinely friendly and warm welcome and are seated at this point it's all about what you want . The staff are friendly and will happily explain everything as required , and they have a passion about what they are talking about .
The food always comes as you ordered , I have never had to complain once . Although I know this wouldn't be a problem as I have seen how they handle things if customers are not totally happy , they are very discreet and attentive no scene , no fuss . Even when you can clearly see that the customer is of the type that should be taken out and shot . These guys are just bang on professional and Friendly no matter what. The steaks are so tender and full of that oh so special flavour that can only be obtained through charcoal . Every bite is a joy . You get a good selection of condiments to go with your meal all the traditional stuff and not cheap copies . If you're still hungry after the main oh my god the sweets are beautiful and very sizeable .
Overall I love this place , it's by far the best restaurant ive eaten in Eastbourne so far . The ambience is brilliant and what I really appreciate is its not all heirs and graces it's run by normal people who aren't trying to turn steak into this hipster beard wearing type of experience like so many so called "gourmet burger" type places . It's steak and it's a carnivores delight . The inside of this place is nice and clean and feels warm . Although one thing I'd like to do if it were mine is , have it candlelit either with a chandelier or on tables as this would take it right back in time .
So go indulge the primeval in your yourself you won't regret it , it's the best and you absolutely should visit this place .

Opening on the 12th March in the Tally Ho is the Green Street Pizzeria.
At the weekend they made up some dough and opened for a few hours on Saturday and Sunday. No bookings, just turn up and try it out. Everything was very new, still getting to grips with the wood oven, decoration still not complete but...The pizzas were wonderful. All made to order, you had to wait a bit but everyone is still learning.
Would recommend you try it out when it opens officially.

We had been meaning to pay a visit to the Two Bulls for some time after having being recommended it from friends. We were not disappointed!
We were met with lovely, friendly staff and the atmosphere was perfect. Then came the food. Wow. The starters alone were fantastic but, of course, the mains were the thing we'd been waiting for!Utterly delicious t-bones and rumps, perfectly aged and perfectly cooked! We've never had such flavoursome steak, and we eat it a lot!
Aside from the beautiful meal, we have to take our hats off to the staff and wonderful manageress who really did make the night special for us.For this fitness couple, the night was a knockout!

Friendly , attentive staff.
My only complaint would be the tables are a little squashed together.

My husband and I have just had lunch at two bulls steakhouse in Eastbourne. We were warmly welcomed in to the restaurant by a very friendly manager.
The manager was extremely generous and asked the chef to cook my husband another steak skewer as he enjoyed his meal so much. Furthermore My haluomi was out of this world.
I'm not really a massive fan of chips, but I've never enjoyed some chips so much.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, and you certainly will not be disappointed.

We went for a steak dinner on a Friday night and had a lovely experience. The waiter was very friendly and very helpful - although his over-narration of everything was a little comical. The menu has a good selection and went for the £60 meal for 2 set menu (which pretty much had most stuff on anyhow). The starters were nice, if not over complicated and imaginative, and arrived pretty quickly.
We both had steak for main course. It was a very tasty steak, no issues with the meat, however they were not cooked as ordered - but it didn't make too much difference. Both were good cuts of meat and were of ample size. The chips were disappointing. Thick cut, no crisp texture and only a couple on the plate. The homemade coleslaw was very good and the selection of accompanying sauces was extensive and necessitated its own box!
The pudding selection was mouth-watering and both our choices were very tasty (although my salted caramel ice cream did feel a bit expensive at £5).
Overall, the meal was pleasant and pretty good value for money. The service was great, the décor was really good and felt inviting and the food was on the whole pretty tasty.
After our meal we then went across the bar and had a couple of drinks on the comfy sofas in front of the log fire - a great way to end our evening.

Steak to be recommended here. Salads are good also.
There is a good selection of drinks, and deserts.
Not the most attractive décor-but ignore that and just enjoy the food.
Staff are pleasant and friendly.
