My husband and I have visited this restaurant several times over the past two months. We have never been disappointed with the quality of our steaks - always cooked to perfection - and the standard of service is first class - quick, efficient and friendly, every time. My personal highlight is the peanut butter banoffee pie for dessert - mouth wateringly delicious. We always enjoy treating ourselves to a meal here; if you enjoy steak, you won't find better in Eastbourne.

My girlfriend and I had a pleasant evening at the Two Bulls Restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any meat lover living nearby Eastbourne. The the waitress was lovely and make our visit an enjoyable one ! Well done ! If we have the chance to visit Eastbourne again, we will definitely come back to this place.

We visited The Two Bulls for the first time and it was EXCELLANT. The staff were amazing so friendly and helpful, and the food was the best . The steaks were cooked perfectly and were the best we have had for ages. The only thing was we found the chips too salty, and when we mentioned it the waitress brought us another bowlful , and I can assure you they were the best handcut chips ever. Will be going back and trying the Hastings one. Am expecting the same high standards as Eastbourne. Well done to you all.

At the Two Bulls in Eastbourne, I had the best steak I've eaten in England, a delicious melt in the mouth fillet, cooked to perfection. I should know as I am part owner of a cattle ranch in South Africa. The steaks had been hung correctly, an art form no langer found in most places. The service was friendly, attentive, without being intrusive.
I will definitely go again and again. For those who love good steak, this is the place.

We were looking for a steak restaurant in Eastbourne and came across the two bulls! What a good find , amazing attentive staff who waited on our table nothing was too much trouble and they were all very friendly . We both had the 45 day aged sirloin which was the best and cooked to perfection , the creamy spinach side order was a revelation and the pudding tiramisu was exceptional ! We have already booked a return visit x we'll worth a visit , highly recommended !

Our first time visiting Eastbourne. We were given a recommendation to visit Two Bulls. Fantastic!! Simple menu, with food given top billing and rightly so. Steaks were phenomenal. Credit has to be given to the staff who were at all times attentive, fun and smiley. Recommended: Jambon Iberico starter, the aged steaks, creamed spinach, steak Diane mushrooms, and roasted peanut banoffee pie was amazing!! Must go again!

Visited today for the first time & can honestly say, THE best steak I've EVER had. I have an unusual allergy & nothing was too much trouble. The staff are second to none & if you don't visit this restaurant then you are missing out big time. Excellent bottle if red to go with it, all in all we are going back very soon. Top marks !

This is our second visit to the Eastbourne restaurant - we used to trek over to Hastings to the Two Bulls there. This branch is very convenient for us- and parking is easier than in Hastings.
The steaks are excellent, if a little pricey. Best to go on a Thursday or Sunday evening, or at lunchtime when there are good deals on. Three courses with a bottle of wine at £25 per head for the evening deal.We had good service and food- my only criticism is that my food was over seasoned and way too salty for my taste. We were provided with a huge box of sauces and seasonings to add ourselves, so go easy on the salt in the kitchen please!

we went for dinner on 17.1.2014 and this was our third visit. The steak was probably the best any of us had ever eaten and the French red wine was divine. Puddings to die for and great friendly service
.Only negative, the music could be a bit less obtrusive, but then we are all very old and grumpy.
Thanks for another great dinner . We shall be back

Many thanks goes to my sister in America who came across this new restaurant in Eastbourne on Trip Advisor, asking if we had been there. Had not heard of it, but looked it up and found it was only recently opened, following the success of their sister restaurant in Hastings. So, with a generous gift certificate for Christmas from my sister, we tried it out for lunch. Just terrific. Loved everything about it: the atmosphere, the service and of course the food. Being renowned as a steak house, we felt it only right to try the sirloin steak, which was an offer on their very reasonably priced lunch menu. And it certainly did not disappoint. Tender and cooked exactly to order, served with a very nice side green salad, and homemade chunky chips, along with a choice of sauces for the steak. And could not resist their homemade dessert menu. I had one of the best Banoffi pies with peanut brittle, and my friend had the homemade New York baked vanilla cheesecake. Both were terrific.
Will be going back very soon.Well done to the Two Bulls!!!!

Went there for Sunday lunch and that was great. The waiter was nice, service good and the meat was amazing. The portion was just fine , you 're not leaving with a rumbling tummy!! well balanced meal as well. Shame we were a bit cold, the heater was definately not efficient enough ,there are 2 fire places but they were not in use. That would have been so much nicer if they were! But we will go back it has not put us off !

We went as a group of 4 and on the whole it was excellent. My partner could not get the steak she had wanted and the side I had was so loaded with white pepper I could not eat it. However these are small complaints as the service was excellent and the steaks were really tasty and done to perfection. Would go back anytime.

Came here for a christmas do and had the point-end steak, med-rare and it was just perfect! Never imagined I would be able to eat meat unless it was cremated but I'm so glad I took the waitresses word because it was the best steak I've ever eaten! As was the peanut banoffee Will soon be returning!

Went here on Saturday night with family, ours was the only free table on arrival - the place was busy and buzzing.
Great service; really smiley, friendly waitresses who knew their stuff.
Food was superb. There were 6 of us and we had the prawn cocktail (delicious big fat prawns, and lots of dressing), the mackerel pate (good flavour), the ham and cheese (generous serving) and the sour dough and oil (again, very generous portions).
Main courses, 5 of us had the sirloin steak - each one was cooked as we had asked it to be. One had the Chateaubriand - best steak ever eaten apparently!!
Desserts - now here is the only minor negative... the peanut banoffee was too peanutty, it was overpowering. The Eton Mess was delicious as was the salted caramel ice-cream.
Overall - it was about £40 a head, including the drinks - which given some reviews about the cost, wasn't as expensive as I was expecting.
Would I recommend - absolutely
Would I return - yes! I'd love to do the £50 menu, and I'd have the Chateaubriand next time!!

Went on a Sunday evening in December and it was busy; a good sign. Had the starter, steak, desert and wine for two for £50. It was a really good steak and chips and the winn was not bad. Overall great value and a very good meal in a nicely done up venue.

Great service and lovely restaurant and the steak is some of the best I have ever eaten. The chips and sauces are delicious and free refills are offered on both. All of this and the banoffee pie for dessert is one of the best things to ever pass through my face. I'll be back as soon as I save the money!

Finally got round to dropping in for lunch on Sunday and enjoyed every minute. Asked for our steaks medium rare and these were perfectly cooked, tender and really tasty. My husband said it was the best steak he'd ever had. They have refurbed a lovely but tired old pub into an attractive airy space. Staff were friendly and excellent - just the right level of attention and knowledgable about the food. Really well done to the new owners and wish you all the best with your plans for the future.

The interior has improved immensely since it was the old Tally Ho. Service very good and the best steak I have had for years. Lovely thick cut chips and salad. Just wish they did draft beer but as they only open four days a week this isn't possible. Highly recommended
